If you ask this question now, i will advice that do not invest in any altcoin in these days. you should watch the market a bit. If you are eager to make investment, you can take bitcoin or ethereum at these low prices.
The best thing to look at when you are investing in a coin is the kind of community that is supporting the coin because without a good community behind a coin there is no way that the coin is going to do well. That is why when I am investing I am always investing into the top coins because they are the ones with the highest amount of investors
When choosing the coins I want to invest in, I'm interested in a few parameters. This is the total number of coins, the capitalization of the cryptocurrency and its innovation. In these parameters, my choice fell on the ETH, QTUM, ZRX, TRX, ADA.
I would leave 5 bitcoins for a long time because there is a feeling that in the distant future bitcoin will start to grow and for the rest I would buy altcoins in order to increase the chance to earn in a short time 
When i will have 10 BTC, i hope it will be soon, i will split only 60 percent of them between 10 cryptos. It will be crypto from top 10. But now i dont know what will be they are
Ethereum will be my first choice when if I were to make a choice like this. A very large percentage of those bitcoins would be put in ethereum first to make sure that I have a lot of stake in the best altcoin in the market and after that is done, I can start to focus on investing in coins like monero, neo and litecoin which would be split evenly between them
With 10 bitcoins invested in altcoins I would definitely make sure the biggest part of them goes to ethereum because it is the altcoin I believe the most in. Also neo, eos, cardano would be on the list too.
Great!!! If it was me, I would choose ETH, NEO and ADA because it is very strong in the cryo market, for its projects you have also seen it grow stronger and here it is also Make more projects so you invest early when the price is low.

Some coins would not give you as much profit as Ethereum will. Hold your coins and sell them when the price is not cheap.

Of course, you can make more profit on altcoins, but the risk is very high, so I prefer bitcoin, for me it is expensive, but also more reliable.
I think now you can make a really good investment in a number of coins that have accumulated volumes over several weeks and are ready for growth.
I know there are so many but if you want to diversify you may wanna look into ETH cards. There is a new game called Gods Unchained. Right thoughts on this matter, because the Altcoins have a very good opportunity to accumulate good opportunities based on what they have today. Therefore, if you want to make a quick profit then investing in altcoins is right.

Altcoin investments are good to consider as it spreads the risks but above all in my opinion one should prioritise BTC for now because BTC its still the king of coins.
I agree that BTC is still the king of altcoins but the value of the coin is very higher than altcoins. Money matters at the end of the day if you invest the same in eth and other promising altcoin you will be benefited for sure. I am not saying BTC is not good. Research on your own and invest as your satisfaction is important.
Altcoins are used almost everywhere so it is not so difficult to make them a subject of the investments and other operations. It will bring good indexes.

Altcoins have become the main aim for investments because their oriented on the future trensd are so good for investors who want to get money in the future.
Investing in different altcoins are good, if and only if that coins really have a great potentials and will not turn to scam. Also making investments now is good since the market is still recovering now.
