We just need to educate them as to what profit and income these coins can bring, but we also have to tell them the downside of it. Its understandable that other generation like our parents and the latest gen would find it difficult to navigate and trust as to what the cryptocurrency can offer.
Yes, that is the only possibility but I guess it will take a lot of time for making them getting aware of all the aspects of crypto currency. Even it is difficult I guess we must need to do that because that is the one way we can make them convinced so that we can invest into right opportunity before we are going to miss them out. I also have lost many opportunities just because of not cooperating from my family.
Just be patient, who knows maybe as altcoins get more recognized, your father might end up asking you about it and how he can start investing on it.
That was the exact thing happened to me. After bitcoin reaching $1.2k levels in 2013, my parents started showing interest in investing with bitcoins. Higher prices are always an attraction for everyone which helped me to convince my parents to get into crypto currency even that was late then times but now I feel lucky.
