I was not able to persuade my mother in my last two conversations with her. And now she will spending some time with us in my house that I might be able to give her a chance to get to know more about cryptocurrency. I was able to find some video I can show her and some of the exchanges I use. Maybe this will be my last chance to show her everything I got about crypto before I can call it quits or give up on her. Hopefully she would be able to convince herself to invest as well.

My dad loves to invest in stocks but he seldom has a positive net income from the stock market. It’s the fact that crypto is a better tool to earn money, especially for the Altcoin. Then., I try to persuade my dad to invest in Eth and BNB. They’re worth to invest. Take myself as a good example, I spent the weekly pocket money on my first Eth two years ago and earn more than 10X of money. It seems that Eth is still going up in the future. It’s a good investment during this economic recession period. I tried my very best to persuade my dad to buy Altcoin like Eth and BNB but he thought that crypto was very risky and unreliable at all. Investing in crypto is the best way to earn money in this economic recession. It means that my family loses the chance to become rich since my dad does not invest in crypto.

That's right, there are still many close family members like your father. They prefer to be in a safe zone, making a profit that may be a little but he does not lose a large amount of money. Even me at first. I ignored my friend that is talking to me about investing to it. And as my personal point of view, I think, they will only go for it if they already saw a result. As my personal experience, my parents don't support me in investing to it after explaining to them all of it. That's why I move myself to find opportunities where I can add money to my portfolio. Luckily, when my money grew, they believed me. And they are the one who asked me. And now, they are already supporting me investing to it.
Many people dont like the risk of investment but they want to gain high profit, they dont understand if high return is always in high risk. In my town, people who have alot money is prefer to buy house and gold for their long term investment. Also they want to have real instrument investment, not digital that can be have other risk, that is stolen via online. That why here, Bitcoin and others crypto is not popular yet, because they just ignored the truth many people getting rich from crypto.
People hesitate to invest on cryptocurrency thinking of its volatility. At the same time if one has experienced small profit out of the investment, then the mind will never look for stocks. Most of the stocks were preferred, because of the predictability of assured profit in the long term.

Your father and other people who prefer investment tools other than cryptocurrencies are not wrong, everyone has a different view, has a different risk tolerance, it's not good if forced. Respect your father's decision, and focus on developing your investment, if your father is interested then you must be ready to be his guide

but I wonder why you always suggest coins with a rating so far from the top that not many people even know about the coin in the crypto space?

The first impression could be bad, that was usually what we heard and we can't force these people to think what we think, we know about crypto while they don't. People who have a limited idea in regards to crypto investment will simply and easily say it was a scam. And they live that kind of misconception until such a time that someone could prove them that they are wrong. This is similar to what happens to one of my friends but now, he'll turn back to me and started to ask about Bitcoin and altcoins.

It's not only cryptocurrency alone, it is hard to persuade our parents about most technology or anything they don't understand. They usually like to keep things simple and invest in systems that have been proven over a long period of time. Yes its hard to introduce and to explain what is crypto and what is the benefits to people around me. In my village that consist of more than 2000 people, only about 5 person included me who was make invest in crypto. They just thinking, crypto is similar ponzi scheme to scam people, because many cases of investment crimes using ponzi schemes in my country. Also because many people here is not familiar with stocks market.

It is very difficult to convince a person who does not understand the cryptocurrency market. They operate on proven investments. Although they are losing, they still know and believe. Basically crypto investment doesn't need to invite anyone because it always has risks, and next is everyone who has negative thoughts about crypto, then that person doesn't need to be taught because he will always don't believe in crypto, so there's no need to offer anything in this case this.

the conditions you experienced were the same as mine when I persuaded my parents to invest in crypto. but my parents' reasons are different from yours. if your parent refuses because he prefers stocks then my parent has another reason because crypto has a high risk because the price is so volatile that he is afraid of losing when the price drops.and my parents prefer investing in gold.
Why do many of our parents find it so difficult to accept cryptocurrency, because they are of different generations and most parents do not really
understand the world of the internet. Even my parents use smartphone technology that is still old school, and very rarely access the internet to
get information. So it is only natural that they prefer investing in stocks and Gold, rather than investing in something they do not understand.
