in my opinion it's the same in where I live also only people who are young at heart and accept crypto who can accept crypto, because parents' thinking is only to see clearly with open eyes, that an investment has its form, which is very different from crypto which only shows the real amount but the shape is not visible.
Yes, but things are a little different in the environment I live in now because some parents in my place have started to like crypto even though not all of them have invested in crypto, but they already believe in crypto and also really like it.

It all depends on the thinking of our parents that we face, because the thinking power of parents is not the same as our thinking power and does not force it if our parents do not understand at all.
and if our parents know and know the risks, then we must provide a very clear understanding and knowledge, and if not interested do not force it and there is no harm in also informing other family members who are easier to understand if we explain it.

Crypto is not popular in my homeland. People in my homeland love to invest stocks and bonds. And real estate is the most popular investment. Only few people invest in crypto. My dad loves to invest in stocks but he seldom has a positive net income from the stock market. It’s the fact that crypto is a better tool to earn money, especially for the Altcoin. Then., I try to persuade my dad to invest in Eth and BNB. They’re worth to invest. Take myself as a good example, I spent the weekly pocket money on my first Eth two years ago and earn more than 10X of money. It seems that Eth is still going up in the future. It’s a good investment during this economic recession period. I tried my very best to persuade my dad to buy Altcoin like Eth and BNB but he thought that crypto was very risky and unreliable at all. Investing in crypto is the best way to earn money in this economic recession. It means that my family loses the chance to become rich since my dad does not invest in crypto.
It’s hard to persuade those middle-aged people to invest in crypto. Do you think so?

It is no surprise there if our parents become difficult to invest in cryptocurrencies and you see them sticking to what they know for years before now. Especially our elderly parent are not likely to change their view on what they already know and are less likely to pick up on new way of things even most especially when it comes to money and Investment. This means we will have to do a lot of work convincing them why it is safe and they should invest and even at that, most will tell you they are comfortable where they are and what they are use to.

I think maybe your parents are over the age to be able to learn and absorb. I mean, now is our time, the era in which we later trade everything with cryptocurrencies.
Maybe your parents don't invest in coins, but they invest in other material things. Instead of not being able to convince your parents, try to use your capital to invest.

The crypto space is still growing so I don't expect everyone to know about it already, and IMHO your dad is a smart investor for not investing in something he has no idea about, convincing elderly people to just buy some random crypto without educating them about crypto isn't enough, if you made your parents understand the real reason why they should throw their money into the crypto space, then they would have done it, but instead you just told them to buy without any good reason, well its not that hard to convince middle aged people all you have to do is educate them about crypto first, because most of them still think it's a scam.

Crypto is part of technological advancement, and as you say, not many middle-aged people understand crypto because the technology of their time is far behind the present, and also many of them already have jobs that they think are suitable and sufficient wages.

Inviting parents to participate in investing in crypto is indeed a good thing, but you must be able to explain in detail about crypto, even the risks, because if not, in the future if the investment that your parents made does not go smoothly as originally planned, there will be a misunderstanding. , this can damage the harmony between parents and us
That's what you should do, explain everything to them and let them decide either to invest or not. Our parents knows how to value their money I believe and not all parents are willing to risk their money to the things that is not sure, that's why many are still hesitant to invest on cryptocurrency and we have to respect that. I've been inviting a lot of my friends to start investing with Cryptocurrency but not all are listening to me, well we cannot force them at all so let them decide.

It is necessary that investments will be successful and peole would not lose money on investment. Now for every coin liquidity is necessary. It is good that there are platforms like https://www.koinal.io/ that allow to exchange cryptocurrency to fiat directly from a bank card and increase the liquidity of the coin.
Why do you feel happy to post the same thing on every topic and even often suggest less popular sites to many people,
wouldn't that kind of thing be very risky for others?
I don't know what motivation from him by posting like you said it,
however, if we visit a site that is less popular or less reliable, of course the risk is very high,
plus security is also not guaranteed so we better avoid visiting sites like that

Convincing older folks to invest in crypto most especially when they have not discovered it themselves is difficult and frustrating, I myself as an example, I am the only one who invests in crypto in my whole family, none of my brothers know about crypto, I've tried several times to explain to them how they could actually make a good living out of crypto but they think am trying to take their money from them, cus am the youngest, my eldest brother don't even have a smart phone neither does he own a laptop, he doesnt even know that the internet is, trying to convince folks like this is always fruitless cus they never gonna believe you, most especially when you've not made it big yourself.
But looking deeper into this, I don't really blame them cus a study I read said that the older we get, so does the level of risk we are willing to take refuses, so putting this study into consideration, one should understand that the older folks don't like taking much risk most especially on something they don't understand.

yes, I agree that it is difficult to persuade parents, or older people to invest in crypto, especially if there is no knowledge of crypto or investing in the internet that they know. To be honest, when I first entered into the crypto world, I also convinced them about this, but most of them thought that things like that could be a scam, and the risk was very big.

It's not like you want to be able to invest. There are many people who can not get used to this. Maybe your parents' time is over, now the growing market makes them unfamiliar and unable to adapt to them
They are so used to cash transactions, so changing a habit is difficult. It is important that they get acquainted with the market and new knowledge.

I believe everywhere in the world like this. We are young and we are not afraid to take risks on the contrary generally middle-aged people do not like to take risks. We all know the crypto market is highly volatile so that's the reason you unable to persuade him even my dad's opinion is the same as your dad he also says I won't take risks I play safe So we can not force anyone unless someone has trust in cryptos.

The problem is that older people are used to the fact that any purchase has a physical form that you can touch with your hands. Cryptocurrency is something virtual for them, which can not have a material value. It is for this reason that they use physical gold to preserve their savings.

its almost too good to be true to tell people about what they could invest in and make more money without telling them how and why they could lose it. i think thats the shortcoming in your presentation. to earn is to lose, and to lose is to earn. try again and let him see why he could make profit and how to lose money also. he will then tell you to try with small money since he now knows how it could be lost.

i think the most currently who are interested in crypto are the younger generation. the fact is it's true that not everyone is interested in the world of crypto and they prefer to invest in something else. It would be better if we provide an understanding of the crypto world little by little then over time they may have an interest in the world of crypto.
Even in younger generation, crypto is still not that much popular. Only few of us knows that crypto is existing and can be a good and profitable investment in this time of economic recession. For me, if we can start mass education for crypto in the days to come, then it would be not be hard anymore to convince the people around us to invest in it most especially with bitcoin. Yes, the risk is definitely high but the profits is really worth investing.

Well, it's kinda the same with my parents they more like in to the real state stuff telling me to buy land because it's a good investment, but I guess it is a good investment plus you could invest it as an apartment to earn a good passive income. It's also their money so they could do whatever they want in it, and it's not the money that we are risking, meaning investing in real estate is less risky for sure than investing in this cryptocurrency that's for sure.

I guess it is in their era when it comes to online things or technology they tell me that is just a scam that everything online is a scam, that I need to take out my money because it could be a scam and I need to be careful. Because in my country the news was just crazy to scams. I mean you could be a millionaire investing in bitcoin and Ethereum but it's the same as long as you invest it, we can't really convince them unless they experience how it works. Technically what they believed in because if you cash in your money and then it doesn't register on your account or something that is terrifying for them already.

So your best option was to invest your own money I mean in my position that is what I did, starting from 300$ of investment and I started to save all of my money just to earn that 300$.

When I said to my parents to invest in Bitcoin, at that time the price was under $1k, they didn't listen to me! Our next talk was when the price was around 5k (a years later, right after that dump in 2018), they didn't listen to me! So I know how hard is to talk with parents, but it was almost the same (if not worse) with my friends! I talked with them a lot more, and they didn't do anything about crypto!

Well, now it's my time to rub them on their nose every time they start talking about "how to make money & where to invest"... I was a joke back then, they were laughing when I start talking about crypto, but now I get the chance to tell them what a life opportunity they missed! And I add that it's still not too late to get into the game!

That was exactly what happened to me at that time, I was being laughed at by my mother. We talked about crypto and she just does not want to listen to me and says that it is not her thing. But she only has 2 years left before her retirement. I want to convince her that instead of buying gold I will try to convince her to invest her money on crypto and be able to make it upwards so that once she retires she will able to get the most out of that investment.
