the conditions you experienced were the same as mine when I persuaded my parents to invest in crypto. but my parents' reasons are different from yours. if your parent refuses because he prefers stocks then my parent has another reason because crypto has a high risk because the price is so volatile that he is afraid of losing when the price drops.and my parents prefer investing in gold.

Take myself as a good example, I spent the weekly pocket money on my first Eth two years ago and earn more than 10X of money. It seems that Eth is still going up in the future. It’s a good investment during this economic recession period. I tried my very best to persuade my dad to buy Altcoin like Eth and BNB but he thought that crypto was very risky and unreliable at all. Investing in crypto is the best way to earn money in this economic recession. It means that my family loses the chance to become rich since my dad does not invest in crypto.

I also think the same as you that it is very difficult to persuade parents to invest in cryptocurency. I have provided the best arguments and evidence to convince them, but all in vain. they reject outright, because they argue that cryptocurrency does not have clear rules or agreements that can make us lose money at any time.
Many people are not keen to learn, they are used to bankers doing the calculations for them on what they can earn on their fixed deposit and other investment plan that may not be in their interest! It's surprising to know that people earn next to nothing on their deposit yet they despise Cryptocurrency where 100% profit is nothing to us!
because some people in your area are already comfortable in their zone where they already get the results of bond and real estate investments.

and I think that is quite normal, because in our parents world, they dont even know what is cryptocurrency and this is our job to give them knowledge of crypto and make sure our parents understand.
But I think this task will be hard to do, especially in my case.
This is true because because has much as i want to teach my mom how to go about investing in crypto currency, explaining to older generations is really tricky because they dont understand much about computers and they think everything is a Ponzi scheme because they have been tricked out of their money one time or the order… only if you wont be the one handling the account and just giving them feedback
I had a similar experience like you, but the object is not my parents, it is my friends, but the result is also ended in failure, due to they all think cryptos are just scam even i try to explain very very hard. So now I'm just playing by myself and i have got used to it.
Actually you don't need to do that to your friends even though your intentions are good and useful for them, but rest assured that not everyone likes crypto and thinks crypto is profitable, so from now on, just show them the results and if they want to learn Again, tell them that you are late, that's all.

If the parents are not up to date to the current technology, yes they are hard to persuade, but if they are up to date you can persuade them you can be an example to them buy them something online using Cryptocurrency, come people are associating Cryptocurrency to Ponzi scheme you must first introduce the usage of Cryptocurrency before introducing how to make profit from Cryptocurrency. In the world around me, it is easier to see people who are ready to bet on sports and hope for luck than people who are ready to read project documentation and are willing to invest their time in exchange for monetary rewards. I think the territory of the former USSR is not a very safe place for cryptocurrencies.

If you show what achievements you have gained while in cryptocurrency, surely they will start thinking about taking a role in crypto, because someone will be attracted by authentic evidence which they think is profitable, this could be one way if you want to invite them to invest in cryptocurrency.

Yes, the main thing to show is the result, so that they themselves will ask where did you get the result, well on that occasion we give a very good explanation for them, because then our parents will hear and learn it very well. difficult to persuade parents because parents have different knowledge from us. but it is very easy to persuade him if the parents have knowledge that suits us. The 60s and 70s knowledged parents are one of the hardest set of people to convince with latest technology. You have to take time to explain everything gradually, but mind you, there may be zero chance of getting on board even after understanding everything.
Sometimes, when I explain this crypto things to some people, they actually thought it's an opportunity environment where they can double up there money so fast but crypto is never like that. Considering this, the true nature of man always like money and that's what majority of investors are doing here, not really after the tech but the money.

Your sum would be X times more today" and etc. People does not tell the idea of cryptocurrency or Bitcoin. They start with something imaginary that cost nothing, and without giving any explanation, tell how much it cost today. This for sure sounds like something scam and shady. People try to persuade with simple "buy low sell high" example and dont understand why should they invest exactly in crypto, when "buy low sell high" works with everything.

I posted about Bitcoin in social media when the price about $300, but no one ask me how to buy it, they just ignored. But now, when they know the price reached until $60k, they have interest to buy it. People here prefer to play tiktok than learn how to invest on crypto.

I would say this is a wrong mindset. Yes, the price is volatile but it doesn't mean it's a "better" way to earn money. Volatile means you have "bigger' chance to either lose or win because of how fast the price movement is.
