You missed the first rally. The status of the behindhand altcoins is not attractive to me. Invest in top coins instead. So, a further increase is expected and until then make your investment.
It might be an unpleasant experience if you invest in what others tell you to invest in ,you have to do the work yourself or you might be lead astray ,do your own research
I wouldn't doubt buying altcoins. You can safely buy well-known cryptocurrencies such as LTC ETH XRP EOS and others. These projects have been waiting for bullrun for a long time and now they are ready to show a very rapid growth in prices.
Are you ready to listen to advice from strangers in this forum? It's a very strange decision, mate. How about doing your own research? No one better than you can decide where to invest your money. However, I would advise you to pay attention to the top 10 coins.
BNB, LTC, and Eth i think these three are good for short term trading instead of bitcoin and yesterday i got decent profit from trade these coins and today too seems pump for them has not stopping yet but beware of FOMO because some of people are suffering this with buy high and do not aiming to high profit because it wasn't hard pump approximatelly 5% or 10% profit would be good
I suggest you to analyze first and invest in those coin only which donor breakup too much in recession period. Moreover those coin also have substantial product which have real utility. Invest majorly in top 10 coin and then invest remaining on other. I think ethereum and wabi are good coin to buy
in my opinion the good altcoins to be holding above the top 100 coinmarketcap are ethereum, litecoin, binance coin, and NEO because some of these altcoins will continue to be developed into the best altcoins that have many uses

I would suggest litecoin because it has been showing great signs lately and means of good investment. But it will be a whole lot better for you to make your own personal research, 
I will prefer to invest in ADA,BTT,BNB,APPC and BAT, there are alot of coins which are still at bottom and will go to moon as soon as BTC bull run start.
we can collect as many assets as possible now, while waiting for Bitcoin to grow higher in a bull run. and we will get greater profits if we have more assets in our portfolio. I will recommend you BNB, ETH, NEM, LTC and Tron. But My favorite is BNB and ETH, if you still don't know about that coin you need to do your own research about that coin, im sure you will interested about that coin.
maybe i could pick bnb eth and ltc in my portofolio.these coins will have big movement in this year.eth after hardfork its network improved, bnb has high value since binance launch IEO platform and the last, litecoin will halving in this year.

When you don't have time to review projects and to possibly buy into them, the best bet aside bitcoin is to buy already established project on top coinmarketcap, with active team and many events to fulfill. when you top 100 coins, that can be dangerous, a scam coin be part of top 50. I remember bitcoin-connect.

I don't know why making investments decisions requires people's views the way we are having here this days. Coinmarketcap.com contain if not almost all the coins listed in the market, the technical information about those coins, the performance of those coins for the past days, weeks, months and years, how those coins perform in relation to each other and the volume of investment of each of them. If you are looking for any coins to invest in? are you saying "you cannot review them yourself and make informed investments decisions"? Some may pick offense on this but this was not made for that but for us to take control and responsibility of what happens to our investment. Thank.
The five coins which i trust most for long-term investment are Ethereum, Tron, Monero, Litecoin and Waves. In the long run, I believe that these five coins will be highly valued.

I am sure he can found so many potential altcoins which can increase in anytime, but he needs to search by himself and don't just follow what we suggest here. Maybe we can give a good suggestion to him, but if he doesn't do his own research, then I think he will get trouble to define the right price to buy.
fully we do not know the fate of the altcoin that we invest whether it will be forever good or not but if you want to invest in altcoins make sure that they have great potential such as, ETH, EOS, BNB and others. I think it's not too risky to invest, even now their development is always impressive.

In my opinion, BNB coin is good investment for long term. Many project change their network and convert to BNB Chain, if this continue i think BNB Coin could be a popular coin. With Binance DEX, i hope its more secure and many project could listed in that DEX
You have to consider how the coin will be your investment before the bull, you should consider a potentially good altcoin. I personally put my funds in several altcoins which I think are good like XLM, XRP, ICX, VALT and many other altcoins. I think you have to make a decision for yourself

I would advise ETH. But for any coin, look at its price chart vs BTC, and you can see whether it is at a low point in the cycle.
ETH was much higher during the bear market when BTC fell to $8k.
