In trading your profit is proportional to invested amount. I don't think 14$ can make you earn any decent profit. Try to earn or buy more bitcoin to start a profitable trade.

It will be not enough. You need at least $100 or $500 i think for starting.
Save your $14 for something else
Hmph… so, what is he going to do with the $14 actually? Cause I don’t really see what he can do with it, so it doesn’t even make sense waiting, he better work for more. I wish there was a platform just like one forex site I came across that let’s traders start up with as low as $10, and even you will be getting a bonus on top the $10 if you’re a new user.

I believe faucets can help this guy make $100, the problem is that I don’t know how long it will take him to make up to that amount, but with the current rate we’re having now, it might be possible to achieve it quickly. By the way, I’m not much into trading, so not an expert, just comes here to grab some useful information.

That amount is enough for learn altcoin trading, this amount is good if you just start to learn trading and if you still newbie in trading. Because trading without knowledge and good psikilogis just like gamebling. Altcoin trading is also risky so use money only afford to lose.
As by seeing the current progress of bitcoin trading I don’t see any profit in the altcoin trading because their market is all red and very few people invest into the altcoin but bitcoin is versatile and its user circle is spread all across the world and its buyers are always available and more likely bitcoin can be used as payment also but altcoins are confined to the investment so don’t risk your money and invest into bitcoin.

14 dollars is too small to make the profit. But you still use it to buying some coins which is about $0.01 to $0.1 per coin. It will help you practice more...
I think this is the basic rule of trading you have to take start with very less amount and if the coin is any altcoin then you must be more careful about your efforts. You need to research will about your altcoins. Unlike bitcoin, they are non-rehabilitative and not much famous so more care is required while choosing any altcoin. Better is to learn first, then practice with small investment.

you can start
indeed you should start
if you dont start you can take progrees, just continue, tecnically there is no problem
Yeah! There is nothing wrong in starting trading with altcoins and they are good if used for this purpose. Bitcoin is very expensive so nobody wants to take risk with it but as far as altcoins are concerned, they are dependent on bitcoin for the fall and sown in prices but good for trading in a sense that you don’t lose big amount with them and selling them off at right moments do earn you profit. They are good for practicing trading.

No, it is not enough for trading. You need about 200$ for trading. As you are new, you can start with 14$ for knowing and getting experience from trading platform. 14$ so little amount and sometimes you can't find this amount for making transaction fee.

many altcoin that suitable for your fund just find the cheapest price of altcoin and wait for weeks to pump then trade.. or else wait for the new altcoin release im sure this is cheap and have potential to pump...

I guess they do not have to wait for Altcoin for weeks to start trading, because they just want to learn and know how to start trading, I think we should choose Altcoin already listed on the market, to avoid the big risk that will happen in the market.
Altcoin trading will not be so appropriate at this time because bitcoin has gained so much value that people will not going to accept any other coin and at present time btc has turned altcoin market red and all the altcoin investors are taking out their money because they are sure that until and unless bitcoin is at throne no other coin will gain value so go for bitcoin and earn as much as you can it is free hand.

Having with a different kinds of altcoin found on coinmarketcap they are all best depends on what you like the most or your experience in trading but for me i choose ethereum altcoin because i having with campaign and also it was recommend by campaign site that was applying for. In all sorts i want to try all altcoin so that i experience what the difference each one of them.

Altcoin trading is best part of life if you have a more money then you can start trading for your best result. we told that you have a only $14 but it is not clear for me. if you have a 14 bitcoin so it is big money for crypto currency trading but if you have a only $14 it can't possible for you future.
I do not even know what to say, if you look at the difference between 14 dollars and 14 Bitcoin. Practically it is like a bum and a millionaire, but at the same time, even 14 dollars Donat opportunities for starting capital and work on the trading floor with minimal prices for altcoin.

Which amount of money would you guys think would be interesting to start with ?
It totally depends on you and the level of knowledge you have in trading. If you are new and you just finished learning some strategies and trying to see if you can try your hands a little bit, then it is better to start with at least $50 - $100, so you can experience some real life level of trading and then also be able to utilize you safe strategies.

Over time, when you are sure of you have a strong hand, then you can go higher, since the higher you go, the more the money you make.

A modest $50-$100 is really a good amount to begin with. I remember that there are stocks trading that will accept $100 as initial capital so its also applicable to bitcoin or altcoin trading. You just need to be careful in the beginning and try to learn as much as possible before anything can happen with your capital.

And once you gain full confidence and trust your ability, you can gradually increment your capital and see how it goes for you. And if you think that you are not weak and can come up with good returns, then as mid level trader you can double or even triple you initial capital.

Trading is no doubt very much profitable sort of thing. In my opinion, choice of the coins hardly makes any kind of difference. Altcoin is not that much popular coin in the world of crypto currencies like that of bitcoin. Altcoin trading can be very much profitable if you can manage to make the best possible use of the time which is available to you by making right decisions at the very right time.

Im always telling people to invest what they can just afford, but this time I would say that $14 is to little to start doing trading. Maybe $100 would be the minimum start for a newbie. I would suggest you to save more, it would also be wise to start buying bitcoin as your starting point. Then once you got good amount of money, you could diversify your investment and search for promising project. Be sure you would not trade all your fund but will still keep good amount of bitcoin. Good luck to you.

If we said enough, its enough. But my suggestion you need to prepare at least 0.02 bitcoin or more.
If just $14 the profit is not worth much.

14$ is not bad profit since it indicates that we are doing a good trades even if we are newbie but we shouldn't be addicted on the profit we get since I would love to agree on your though's about enough is enough since we will be surely trap if we will be greedy to ask some more lift on our coins. But since OP is newbie he should on bring some low balance on his early trades so that he will not lose some huge money on his expiremental days.

It's not enough but you can start trading with it.Firt of all i suggests you to cheak marketcap every moment so you easily see that which coin is dump/pump and decide to buy/sell.Many altcoins  are available that you can buy at very cheap price and start trading with them.If you want to more profit then invest more money in altcoins. Cheesy

I agree, it's either HODL with BTC, or trade the hell out of alt-coins. In the future, maybe different truths will arise, but for now, those seem like the two most profitable strategies.
He cant hold Bitcoin with only 14$. I think he should hold some coin which can buy with USD at hitbtc exchange.
