OP, I think you should look at a coins market cap rather than its price, as this is indicative of any actual profit you'll make. If an infinite supply of coins exist at 1 satoshi each, then the coin is worthless. If a single coin exists, it could be worth $10 million each if the market cap is $10 mill. Coin price is irrelevant in comparison to market cap, which is based on Coin Supply * Coin price.

LBC is one to watch, it keeps rising up slowly, the dev team has just been expanded and they actually have a working product unlike a lot of other coins in the market at the moment.
There is a lot of coins under 1 usd . You can invest in sys , xrp and xlm . I think they are perspective, but i am not sure . Because nobody can say that which coin is going to become rockstar. Make your own research then invest.. sys, xrp and xlm are pretty cheap coin, You can buy them and hold for 1-2 years , i think you will get a good profit .

Hello! Guys I am looking for coin under 1$ with some good Basics. maybe some coin that I can hold for 2 to 3 year. Am planning to add some more folios? All the suggestion are Open. 
My list of coins which in 2-3 years can make x2-x5 profit are BAT, XEL from last ICO, good team and have an interesting product. Also, don't forget about XEM and XRP both undervalueted yet. You can get IOTA and EOS on correction as well now they worth around 2$

Not really sure if holding any alt coin for 2-3 years is a good idea at this time. However for 6 months to 1 years my choice of alts would be zrx and mothership.
CAN DOPE these are the alts i am having right now its from the 420 family,lots of profits everyday.
You can pick up a few XSPEC coins for $1 and it could easily beat monero in a few years time. It has better privacy features but very poor marketing, and an even worse website! When it becomes more popular the price will rise, better grab some now!
DATA is a really promising project. It could easily reach one Dollar in the next year. But the price is not the important factor to look at. You have to consider the market cap.
If u're looking for long term investment you should definitely aim for XRP and as a coin thats a bit over 1$ atm, you should be getting IOTA as its very interesting and promising project. Good luck finding ur coin 
If you are intresting for long term investments in alt coin then PURA Is a good. May be in 2-3 year you will got very huge return from PURA or currently it is 60 cents only.
