Ethereum is the next coin after Bitcoin. Of all altcoins, ethereum has the highest value of all the available altcoins in the market. It is also famous of its blockchain, myetherwallet. Most of the ICOs used ethereum as their main source of payment address because of its ability to provide easy access and easy wallet address.
I think some altcoins can become known around the world as bitcoin, for example Ripple, etheruim, neo, waves, MOSTLY tron.
I think that most people will say that the next bitcoin will be used for broadcasting. Why ether? Because he has the closest market with bitkoynom, as well as with a large community.
In my humble opinion, BTG is a very underrated coin. But unfortunately in the near future, vryatli can be a great growth for this omety, although if you recall the experience of BCH, it is possible to see the price of 3-4k dollars.
Definitely ethereum. Haven't you check the market price lately? It has been a long time since ethereum kept its place next to bitcoin. And just today i found out that ethereum was included already on my local wallet, great move isn't it? It was a very good decision for me to also invest in ethereum.

The ethereum is accepted all over the world, it is used in ISO projects and much more, so we can say that the Ethereum is the second crypto currency in popularity after Bitcoin.
I noticed that ETH has a great potential for the next Bitcoin for in fact our local wallet added ETH on its exchanges. For now, it has three categories. Bitcoin, our local currency and ETH. It takes the next step towards bitcoin. If this continue happen then ETH will become a major coin also.
Actually it is not easy to find a future leader similar to bitcoin especially with this much scam coins thriving. ETH will beat BTC in the longrun. But Other crypto currencies may also find their place in the digital world.

Well obvously, the altcoin that is nest to bitcoin is the ethereum. And some ICO are using the ethereum and most exchanges uses also ethereum for transactions like trading other crypto currencies that needs to convert first to ethereum in order to be converted to bitcoin.

I think that the second most important crypto-currency in the world can be called the Ethereum, because so many people around the world use it.
