Now altkoins are heavily dependent on the course of bitcoin. Therefore, in my opinion, altcoins need to be traded very carefully, constantly reverting to bitcoin. That's when the altkoins become independent of bitcoin - then the altkoins will become more stable and they will be able to trade without risking much to go into minus.
You must understand that the 24 hour % change of the coin is not reflective of a pump or dump, you should rather look at the monthly average. If a coin moons 50% one day.. and then falls 10% the next.. that's a 40% moon over 2 days, not a dump.
I like the idea, its logical to say that reviewing each movement will allow us to know whether the coin we supported is just a part of pumped and dumped group or a real project that will grow eventually, the movement from the chart is a good basis to know if holding can be profitable in the long run or you
can also do some stop and loss so you can re enter to a much better position.
Now they will start to bring money to the altcoins. You just look at how it all grew in a week. Litecoin, Ethereum, all in general!
It's not the first time alts dumped like that and every single time they recovered. They will do so again, you just have to be patient.
Apparently not! It is not really a new thing. The alt markets are known to always follow some particular trend based on the trend going on with BTC. For example now, BTC is stabilizing after the long bull run and Alts are always meant to be in good shape with different set of activities going on for them. Once we see some crazy moves again, they are always bound to happen.I think this is a good time to buy those alt coins. When all the alts going red and bitcoin going green, it's the signal to buy some alts.
Always a good time when red, but it is best to take one's time than rushing to buy them. Some of them usually have some free falls eventually and buying when you think the dips have finished may make you to wait a whole long time before you start seeing profit. However, those are always the moment to buy some good alts as they will always get pumped back anyway.

I don't think so. The thing is the altcoin also have the same quality as bitcoin which is volatility. Due to altcoin's volatility there is a high possibility that in time it's value will still increase. We should all keep in mind the almost all online currencies are volatile which means we cannot just assume that it's value is low forever.
Hmmm. Exactly a week ago the OP see's the altcoins are going down, making him to comment that they will be die. LOL. Look at most of the altcoins today and wish that you didn't open this thread and make you look like dump in the crypto world. It always like this if you are still not aware of. Sometimes people cash out and move funds to other investments that why it will go red. But then after a week, with Bitcoin price skyrocketing and trickling to the altcoins markets, almost all of the top altcoins are getting all-time-high and even surpasses bitcoin jump in price. Plus a lot of news have been going around the altcoins like UBS reports, ETH future contracts. So I imagine altcoins mooning in the beginning of next year. And NO, they wouldn't die, but rather stay here for good as long as there are interested investors willing to rain them with cold cash.

Too much seller but there's only a few buyer, just like that and nothing to worry about it. It's just temporary trend and this is the right time to fix ( buy/ sell/ hold ) our asset. Most people get " panic " because not ready but some people make opportunity make money when this is happen ( speculation ). Stay calm and patience because this is the right time to buy not sell. Says who? Thats basically the rule of supply and demand I guess this is the best time to sell and buy afterwards when the become low
its depend what altcoin because many altcoins have good future and profitable like eth and ltc, hold that coin for years and get long term profit
That is good sign that BTC price is dropping. It indicate that a correction has sets in. Previously other altcoins prices were dropping because people were dumping there money to BTC from altcoins. Now after correction for BTC has sets in altcoins are flourishing now and it is a healthy thing for crypto economy.

These people are here only for making buzzes. They don’t know the actual point of fact, all they know is to yell without having any prior knowledge. They need to understand this fact that crypto currencies are the future of this world. They will not de, or even if it is so, this would be a time like min 6-7 decades right from today. They are only creating rumors and make everything problematic.

i dont think alts are dying because i see that most of them are still increasing and some are stable. decrease for altcoins are pretty normal but they may still recover just like on bitcoins. i guess this is just a small correction and not a manipulation though some factors may also cause for alts to decrease like for example some altcoins enthusiast and trader are now selling some of their coins just to invest on bitcoins due to the fact that bitcoin is still pumping rapidly and expected to increase even more just before the end of the year 2017.

For me it is not true that altcoins are dying because eventhough altcoins are not very popular in this world, many altcoins are also rising and increasing its price and just like ethereum the best altcoins, and ethereum is increasing its price and i think in the future many people will also be rich by supporting altcoins.
The price of altcoins are are not following the price of bitcoin, because the heavy holders of these altcoins wants to get more of bitcoin and sell them for bitcoin, but one thing is certain, their price will rise again. Look at ETH today there is a big difference between it's price in the last 2-4 months back, which means it has something good to offer in the next 2-4 months from now.

every time, bitcoin starts moving up and altcoins goes down, when bitcoin gets its higher place and starts cooling down, it will be altcoins turn to follow their big bro
it has been always like that and it will remain that way. look at market right now, btc is tired and is just playing around and all other altcoins have already started their run to follow bitcoin
If BTC was the only crypto currency in existence, most of us wouldn't be here!
Let's be honest, If it wasn't fro the existence of so many good alt coins, BTC wouldn't stand a chance on it's own.
