maybe eth is the best altcoin if you want to hold until one year. eth have popularity than the other coin, and it always stand with bitcoin.

I think if you want to invest in the long term, Ethereum is the right choice, with blockchain technology that can be profitable in the future. ETH is great for use as an investment material for now or in the future.
The market is very mixed at this point and I think you should invest in famous coins for this reason. I guess the cheaper cryptocurrencies will gain more than the most expensive ones. I think Ambrosus is going to be at least a 2 billion dollar market cap very soon.
