I like the market at the moment, because it makes me able to buy more altcoin. Investing atlcoin only lies primarily for long-term purposes, so be patient. Nothing can be foreseen but surely atlcoin will return later this year as in 2017

I think investors understand better than we understand in the altcoin investment context. They are more experienced than us. Those big investors may have started investing long before we were in this forum. Of course, they will not be nervous about conditions like this. I agree with you that you should not believe the information that bloggers are voicing right now, if only because no one knows for 100% whether the season of altcoins will be or not, and generally when it will be. The history of the development of the crypto market shows us that the crypto market, like the top cryptocurrencies, is always growing. Look at what happened a few years ago and now. You can find a certain pattern and this tells us that if the season of aotcoins has already been several times, then it will certainly be again. Only the exact time cannot be said, but one thing is for sure, gain experience and do everything consciously, and then you will definitely get success.

There are investors who do not understand that now is not the time to invest in some altcoins. They sell their coins at a reduced price, then invest money in other coins, which also fall in price. As a result, such investors get only losses.

Which means time to buy some altcoin. I am buying at the moment. I have started to buy with big marketcap altcoin. But after the start of alt season, I will buy some small marketcap altcoin. My aim is to increase my BTC. Not to invest an alt. Especially to the small ones.

Predictors/experts/twitter guys (McAffee, CNBC, JP Morgan etc) only want to make themselves richer none of them care about your money. I don't understand why so many people are listening to them

Altcoins are declining and they will continue to decline because most of them don't offer anything new. You have to face it that most altcoins were being bought because people were hoping to sell them later with a profit. It had nothing to do with what they were offering or the teams behind them.

yes it is really true when we become calm and composed only we can achieve something to be a better value otherwise in sometimes we cannot get good Result at the end while doing wrong decision in the middle so everyone need to be calm and composed in all the situation. In my opinion there is a trend since January 2018, alts losing more and more strength, regardless of BTC price and dominance. I am sorry but I don't see anything changing for alts in next months. Most are already under their ATL vs BTC and I think many will follow.

Holding many alts myself, a lot of with 95% or more decline vs BTC, still thinking for weeks about selling them, tiny amount of BTC is better than nothing, unfortunately even for me after many years in this space it is a tough decision. Selling them for a tiny amount and miss a possible altrun? Or keeping them and have nothing in the end?
Holding is good but you have to realise when it is time to let go just the same as with relationships.

I think in that situation it depends a lot on the specific coins held. Some may hold promise, others not so much. Pure junk coins may be best to let go of so long as it's not an astronomical loss.
Thing is, years back a lot of coins sunk to nearly nothing and it looked hopeless for some projects, but it really wasn't. Tons of coins went up during the last alt season to crazy prices. I don't expect that to happen again for the entire market, but it's possible some alts do a bit of a run, especially for the better coins.
I'm also of the mindset of 'forget logic' with crypto. Logically it appears btc will do a run, alts will keep sinking, and it'll be btc as the only coin left standing. But who is to say that is how it plays out? What if btc retraces and consolidates for the next several months? Alts could certainly do a little run during a lull like that. As someone posted above too, these things all run in cycles ... a cycle for alts will eventually come around again.
In crypto, it's important to be aware that there are cycles. We are currently experiencing a BTC dominant cycle. One of the reason for the current situation is the excessive dilution in the alt markets. The inflation rate for so many altcoins are so high and it will take quite a while for the selling pressure to eventually disappear. Investors are basically moving to bitcoin and stablecoins to protect their holdings as much as they can.
I also believe we are getting to the end of this cycle and once we are done with it, the bitcoin dominance will go down and alt markets can begin to recover.
