Hi,
new in the CLAM community, i love the idea and i'm surprised that it hasn't been more adopted by crypto users, especially the Bitcoiners that were there before the ICO (the ones who have had a bit of CLAMS at listing)
CLAM didn't have a ICO. It was the first coin to be airdropped to other coins private keys (because BTC, DOGE, and LTC all use the same private keys.)
Do you think it's because the coin wasn't mature enough ? or because of a lack of marketing and communication to the initial owners of CLAM ?
It was given away for free, CLAM was also used to fleece a major exchange (poloniex) users out of $20,000,000 in BTC (worth much more now), and probably the lack of marketing.
However, people can still claim their free CLAMS and marketing is still possible.
I'v been working on a few ideas with IMZ, but i need more info from the creators and dev of clamcoin, if anyone hears me, I'd be happy to have a chat around usages and ambitions of Clamcoin/Clam community.
To present myself, I'm a graphic designer that reconverted to strategic marketing the past few years. Crypto curious ( as my nickname ) but also interested by Art, Music, Politics, and sociology, I like to explore different fields and try to figure out how the interconnect. I got in to Web3 projects with Artrade, a project that aimed to create a Instragam like app dedicated to NFT, or a other project called Participate that wanted to create a new ways to consume events by adding new privileges to ticketing by creating special experiences for owner of special NFT tickets, like joining a fine art NFT to you purchase or a new experience like a backstage access.
End 2022, I've stop working on web3 projects waiting for the crypto market to hit a new bull run. I travelled, and started getting into trading with the few coins i've got working of web3 projects.
I'm now looking forward to get back into crypto projects, willing to take part to the community as a known member instead of a shadow contributor working on projects, but without getting the benefits of my involvement.
I'm not a developer, my skill are much more orientated marketing and communication. feel free to PM me if you want to know a bit more about me and my experiences, or to present your project.
Happy to take part to the crypto adventure and aiming to help the world change and to start building the new one, more trustful, avoiding scammers, bankers, and governments. A little block at the time
.
It's ironic because the original marketing dev was named CreativeCuriosity was the original CLAM dev marketing chick.
The best advice is make stuff... if people like it, they will use it! <3
