I've been doing pretty well trading TBTC on both sides of the book... it's kinda fun.
How long did it take for your CLAM wallet to sync? Are you using the fast non-released official wallet?
Still 7 days of synching left -- should finish today, actually. Using the QT from the ANN thread.
Am looking forward to help doing a trial of the transaction comments.

Fucking bonkers that people are willing to buy Bitcoin Testnet for 10x what CLAM price currently is... I guess some would argue that it's bonker anyone is buying either har har.
Testnet TBTC are purchased for Bitcoin product development and testing (exchanges, hardware wallets, software, multisig, Taproot), all other altcoins -- for speculation/trading; I'm guessing.
Seems like most of the TBTC market is people wanting larger amounts of Testnet to test whatever product they are building or working on. There is definitely a handful of faucet whores even in TBTC. Apparently TBTC can be used to test on BitMex... seems people enjoy learning how to trade with them as well. It's more exciting than fake numbers, but less soul crushing than real dollars.
Altcoins are speculation + use for specific communities.
We just host the arena and if people need it... great. If not, then so be it.
