@hello_good_sir, if we're to make prediction about when altcoin season will happen using the previous market momentum. Altcoin market season usually occurs when bitcoin market is stable, not when halving is coming though as you presumed.
@alan2here, the future of altcoin depend on the bitcoin market occasion.

this post was very thru back in Dec 2019 and stilll right now!
many coins are at so low levels they broke the support of 2-3 years
i think that its because the supply grew a lot, but psychologically for traders it looks very promising
im as a holder almost all in on ALTS now
altseason is coming.

I think we need some more confidence in the market before we can have a true altcoin bull run. But recent signs have been encouraging. We've obviously had a mini-dip the last couple of days, let's see if the support holds. It is a good sign I think that the BSV-led surge pulled up the whole market, and we do seem to be relatively stable at these higher prices.

It seems people have the false idea that just because an asset is in the market it has got to move and give profits and that is not really accurate, if you take a look at other markets there have been instances in which the stock market did not gave profits for decades, if you look at gold you will see it has a tendency of not doing much for years or decades as well and then skyrocket in a matter of a year.

My point is that this disappointing season in the performance of altcoins could last for a very long time and by the time the recovery comes you could be out of the market disappointed by your lack of success.

This time is good for you to invest altcoins but you should be careful and consider carefully because not every coin can increase good prices in this market. while kucoin is a good exchange AFAIK yet they have no power to give closer prediction because this is all for Publicity or advertising of their exchange and nothing else.

who are they to say Altcoin Season is coming when even Bitcoin season is not yet arriving ?of course the Number 1 currency first before altcoin must experience Bullying and thats the fact.also reality because there are no time happens that altcoin goes pump first before the Mighty Bitcoin.

There is no reason why we disclose for them to see the sunshine again but it isn't working that easy.
Are we in Bullrun already? Or does the market turn into bullish this year? If this thing will happen, therefore there is a big chance that Altseason will come.

I'll keep on track in HERE for these things will affect the market situation. We are still at the start of this year and the market price is still at low but this will be changed once halving is at launch.

Well, two types of altcoins exist. Next are those who have bigger caps but don't really have any real-life use intent and the other category of altcoins focused on advanced tech, exceptional privacy features and many other good things that many people don't even know about. On those low cap coins that are young, I'm expecting an altseson and have the potential to turn the tables and make history. Hopefully it will make us money.

There are too many factors in play, I am not sure but it seems the claims of Craig Wright about supposedly holding a lot of bitcoin were taken by the market as true and altcoins reacted very positively to this.

But since then BSV has suffered a great correction and it most likely will keep going down, and it seems as if many altcoins will soon follow because at least for what I can see in the charts there are too many factors that are indicating that a correction is imminent and may happen any day now.

With the recent recovery of Bitcoin, only a few potential coins increased their prices. I hope altseason has not arrived yet, which seems some fresh funds entered the market and this makes most of the potential altcoins increased their prices slightly. Yes, you are right only a few altcoins can survive in altseason.

but in reality, that session hasn't happened to this day. before Altseason happened, it looks like bitcoin will first go to the moon and leave them (altcoin). many altcoins are currently feeling pain, and are trying to stay in order to remain in the cryptocurrency market zone. however, in the end there will only be a few altcoins that can survive to continue the "AltSeason".

I am trying to compare todays market status with 2017. And the situation is really very different. It was not that much bearish before 2017. So it is hard to predict anything about altcoins in my opinion. But ofcourse who knows? This is crypto.

There is good change in the growth of altcoins. This can't be stated as the altseason. There is more to go forward, the recent price pumping is the sideways impact of the growth that's been followed from the bitcoin's growth.
