It doesn't look like altcoin season is around the corner yet and bitcoin value is not encouraging, altcoins solely relies on bitcoin movement, if bitcoin is not surging big i won't get my hopes up

It doesn't matter whether bitcoin has less dominance in the market a true investors always find a good asset to invest in as long as it is viable and profitable, you should take advantage in the dips and buy more whether its bitcoin and altcoins. That's the beauty of having multiple coin in the market to have an competition and for the crpyto market continues growth.
The hard truth to swallow dominance affects a lot and it's a sign that more people are interested toward bitcoin and less toward alts. Yes, there might be some coin out there that are undervalued and deserve the investment. However, if the bitcoin dominance keep increasing that means the altcoin being crushed even further though some alts may just follow the flow like what it used to be back in the past. 
I've personally been waiting for altcoin to shine, but it does not seem to be coming. The value of Bitcoin hasn't been encouraging lately and its a known fact that the value of Bitcoin contributes to that of altcoin. I only hope that Bitcoin experiences a boost in its value.
Patience is the name of the game,,, and that is only for altcoins that actually have good value. Please learn the lesson that the majority of alt projects have no value because they have no product and no solution. No community no usage. How can you expect their value to grow or for the coins to shine?

I think altseason will still happen but no one can predict when altseason starts. Seeing the dominance of Bitcoin which is still strong and also the moment of Bitcoin Halving that is getting closer, in my opinion altseason still needs time but I think if altseason occurs, not all altcoin will experience price increases
I am waiting when altcoin dominance in coinmarket and get position for bitcoin keep dominance more than 65%, last two year bitcoin keep dominance until today and never give space for altcoin become dominance, we need community and ask to other focus for trading with altcoin to bring back how success of bitcoin with higher price and take for bitcoin place dominance in coin market cap.

I still find it at to belief everything i read online about upcoming or prediction effects, they are not helping at all, its better not to set your mind on such things, they can ruin your crypto motivations, right now i care more about finding new good altcoins
Every prediction has no concrete basis so we cant expect it to happen. Sometimes it would be best to have our own analysis and forget the current happening on crypto to prevent ourselves hoping for alts bull run that seems wont happen anytime soon. The current status of the market is not as bad as before though alts are not showing indication growth compared to btc. It's true we hope to see the Altcoin season come fast but presently it's still bitcoin dominance so don't just accept everything you read. If you want to invest in altcoin it's a good one but be ready to wait for some more time. And please do some research before investing but know that bitcoin is still dominating.
Your own research will helps you to understand more about the Alts that you are investing there's no need to rush but choosing to learned more and be established with your trust allows you to overcome any fears once the market swings down and you experienced a heavy downfall. Good judgement comes from better knowledge, believe with your own decision.
Well, there are two types of altcoins. First are those who have bigger caps but actually don't have any real-life usage purpose and the other group of altcoins, which is based on advanced tech, extraordinary privacy features and a lot of other good things which many people don't even know about them yet. You will have your time to see the altcoin will be increased again soon, but you still need to be patient and stay calm because that time will not happen in a short time. We still need to wait for the next year because we have a big chance to see the increase of the altcoin and bitcoin in the next year. Not just bitcoin that can increase, the altcoin will increase too, and that means, you can sell your altcoin at the highest price. What you read is just analyze the chance is 50 - 50 and this time could be 100% for loss. coin habit can't be use to see the moment and direction, you should calculate use MACD and MA for enter and exit point. History chart also need to see volatility in sideways. Many factor can break your optimist, so let's wait until February and start again new journey.

I think something different it could be wrong. In some research many people have knowledge on Bitcoin in USA. New people can't invest their money directly in altcoins. Before change their mind first choice is Bitcoin. If Bitcoin bullrun again starting altcoins season has probability come. Huge pump could be during Bitcoin halving time. That is not a fact that is just an observation that may prove to be completely useless in the future, the bitcoin dominance is almost at 69% and it is still growing, I do not see how altcoins could begin to reduce that dominance when it is obvious that the interest of most investors is only in bitcoin, I know that you want to believe otherwise but that is the reality of the market and it is not going to change just because you want to see an altcoin season.It's about time for altcoins to shine!!

At this point I really believe there is not going to be an altcoin season until we see a bull run coming from bitcoin and since I do not believe that will happen during the next year then the next year is going to be bad for altcoins as well.

Usually the price of altcoin follows the price of bitcoin. If the price of bitcoin goes up, altcoin will go up and vice versa. But after reading the blog you gave, my view has changed a little about altcoin. Maybe some altcoin will outperform bitcoin in the next few years.
I have given up on this kind of stuff now about ALT SEASONS and BTC SEASONS..Now I prefer to just ride the waves and swing trade and am accumulating just a few potential low cap coins that I feel could explode once they go through various stages of their development and on the way also quietly grow a BTC stash on the side with a hedge in gold-backed stable coins. I plan to grow a stash of coin I can lend out as well and earn passively from with less risk over time, once I make some good money from trading and multipliers of the coins I got. I don't listen to much about what the Press says, as usual, they tend to be controlled by the big pockets and whales that when they want you to FOMO in, they do their unloading and when they want you to dump as they FUD, they are scooping up on the lows and bottoms. What you and I need to do is set goals, get the education and system in place to achieve our goals, don't look left or right, at FUD OR FOMO, and by doing our own thing, we can secure our future.
