yes once they felt that the demand is there being a businessman and when they see an opportunity to earn they will get into it.

Amazon is a very reliable online store and they profit a lot from bitcoins because there a lot of consumers that is trusting their services. I hope that they will accept bitcoins as payment in the future.

I guess that more than 90% of merchants accepting BTC are using bitpay and are actually receiving fiat which bitpay instantly converts from BTC.

I look at it more like 0.5% yes and 99.5% no.
Amazon likes to do everything themselves and they will probably come with their own coin.

While the US does not speak out about the crypto currency and their regulation, no major player will start using bitcoin.

I just read a post similar to this before and reading that even I felt that Amazon will accept Bitcoins but then I realized that I have heard many such cases and still haven't seen any result. So even I am going to hold and not react on any of the news that is spread by unofficial people .

Do not believe everything you read.
Try to look for facts and looks like your link had been removed because of that.
Anyway, this wont happen for some reasons. They would still prefer the other payments. Bitcoin works differently and price is still wavy. They would rather use the USD than that.

I think it was in 2012 that I first saw a thread here about Amazon accepting Bitcoins. Almost 5 years have passed and no progress have been achieved on this front. My advice would be to forget about Amazon and carry on with our work. If Amazon doesn't need Bitcoins, then we don't need Amazon as well.

It is a fake news how ever if Amazon will implement bitcoin payment, it will have a big impact in the community and the price will blow high. Many online will follow their steps and bitcoin will become more popular.

The rumor crops up every month or so, I dont actually believe it unless I see it on the front of the Amazon website or on CNN or another mainstream news outlet wit Jeff Bezos or some one of his senior execs confirming it.

If it ever does happen I know the first person who is going to be asking me about it is my wife, and she will suddenly want to learn all about Bitcoin.

They can set their own internal price, on which to accept payment. There are a lot of options. This should not be a problem. I hope that this is not a rumor, but the truth

Its not confirmed but i heard from news that amazon can accept bitcoin in future. I don't think it impossible but if they start accepting bitcoins, It can opens a lot of doors for bitcoins. Like people start searching about it when they watch BITCOINS in payment method and much more.
Currently amazon gift cards can be purchased with bitcoin and with these gift cards we can buy anything on Amazon.
