another dump - to 12k - that looks bad  Sad

And it dropped 12% of the value only in this hour, even if after all it lost 25% of the value this week. In my opinion dump and hacks are pushing this coin to the cemetery if there will not be some changes even if for the moment the value is still high. Anyway if somebody thinks that will be othervise is free to contradict me.

I hope: "We are ready to buy back all coins (shares in the company) bought from us at any time in any rounds of share offering at the purchase price." means, that ber Trade can buy at the proce from the last round. In this case #4 (14600). If there will be more shareholders that would like to resell they coins, than 500k AMBER, the rest will be executed with the price from round #3. It's logical, but must wait for the official stetement of AT.

Why don't you sell shares to Amber Trade:
"We are ready to buy back all coins (shares in the company) bought from us at any time in any rounds of share offering at the purchase price. Thus, there is no risk of losing your investment (...) For anonymous investors the procedure of repurchases of shares is the following: they have to inform the company about their intention to withdraw from shareholdings by sending a note to the company’s e-mail address as well as sending the corresponding number of coins to the company’s wallet. After that the company will return the full amount of money to the specified address of a bitcoin wallet within the next 5 days."

Didn't think that was an option since I bought the shares on the exchanges and not from Amber Trade.

@AmberCoinDev is the above suggestion an option?

AMBER Coins were officially sent to exchanges in order to be sold by Amber Trade, so I think that's no difference. It's not said that it must be directly bought from Amber Trade.
Price depends when to buy AMBER... Amber-Trade can not determine the price which AMBER was sold in exchanges. Its normal from business to give first round price or even less... but it may be not enough for Marcus.
May be we all investors can invest some BTC more and buy the remaining 88k...? It depends on price Wink

who cares what the price is, unless you're buying or selling... price affects dividends none

Price doesn't affect the dividend? Then if somebody buys 30k Amber this doesn't mean that the others will have less from the dividend, is this what you are trying to tell?
Price doesnt affect dividends. AMBER is just Company share-management tool. Whatever price - market gives price. More people decide get about USD65 for holding 10k AMBER quarterly - price goes up. Less people ... - market price goes down. But this ride up/down means nothing to dividends. Dump what we see is unforeseen - dumped about 80k stolen AMBER and the same time dumped 140k? for personal reasons, and most of people are on vacation - no buyers.
It means that dividends for 10k AMBER are determined with Company business profit, dividends are not connected directly to AMBER price. But the same time dividends are depending on AMBER price - Company sell AMBER to get money to invest in amber production. To get more profit. To pay more dividends.

another dump - to 12k - that looks bad  Sad

Yeah, sorry, that'd be mostly my fault. I'm the shareholder that needs to sell off shares (personal reasons). Been trying to do it slowly believe it or not, but 140k shares don't go unnoticed apparently. Don't need to sell them that quickly, open to suggestions on minimizing impact.

How much do you still have to sell?

About 88k on exchanges (bleutrade and c-cex). Pulled it off open orders since I'm trying not to screw things up for anyone.

Dividends is the % of company's profit, so it doesn't effect. It is paid in $ or BTC.

Will see.
I don't think it will happen.

But any way this will not affect AmberCoin because it is just one convenient way to send and receive payments.

at least we hang around 15k. even we survive from 80k amber dump without seeing less than 13k.
this coin is solid.

If it was only stolen 80k then we would have eaten them long time ago. Smiley

One of our shareholders sent to exchanges all his AMBER ~a week ago. He had ~140k.
Some of them are still unsold.

We tried to contact him to find out what made him to do so but there is no answer yet.
So it was ~220k of unplanned Amber at the market lately.

But it's temporary difficulties and they will not affect our plans. Wink

show the name here, who has stole that coins
they can did what they want, because no one know about it

and i think we have to know who is them
please don't silent like that

1. We do not know the  name of person who has stolen 80k AMBER from our shareholder (not from us). All of them are most likely sold out already.
So this question could be closed.

2. We have received a reply from our shareholder who is selling his 140k AMBER now.
Here it is:

Hello,

Yes, should have figured someone would notice. I had an illness in the family and needed to liquidate a lot of assets for the near future. I hope it hasn't caused too much of a problem, I was trying to do it slowly for that very reason. I don't have a forum account, so you may feel free to relay this if you feel it will help. For the record I do plan on buying back in later on, so best wishes on continuing profits.

So  the second situation is clear for understanding.

@Ambercoin dev

don't pay the dividends to this hacker if they no respons or have no good intentions

and to consider also for each new registrant user   Undecided
it is even more difficult, because it is difficult to predict him a thief or not
