Whether the speed of mining depends on the speed of memory or speed depends only on the speed and architecture of the processor? It is beneficial to buy the latest processors for mining.

I have a Ryzen 1600x no (further) overclock running mostly @ 3700Mhz

I'd like to share my hashrates in those new algos:

1- Mining Sumokoin (Cryptonight Heavy)
150H/s, 53C, 51W
2- Mining Graft (Cryptonight v7)
480H/s, 60C, 63W

Obs: I'm using the same cpu thread config for both. Am I supposed to expect that much lower a hashrate for CN heavy mining?

I think it too much drop

Anyone know why my 1800x mining at 630 m/h on nicehash is saying it’s only 17 cents a day?? It use to show $1.50 a day running at the same 630 m/h. I know the price has come down but not that much. My 1700x at 550 mh use to give like $1.25 now it’s 15 cents a day?? Is this a nicehash glitch?

Are you mining cryptonight V7 ? If you mine cryptonight "non V7", you have no profit.
I have the latest nicehash legacy v1.8.1.10 they only offer XMRig or xmrstack? As far as I can see. What happened? I’ve been mining chump change for weeks lol

You need to update your miner, if im not mistaken 1,8.1.10 dont support cryptonightv7.

go to https://github.com/nicehash/NiceHashMinerLegacy/releases   and get the 1.9.0.0 - Alpha
That certainly made a difference lol thanks Smiley)

You need to update your NHML, 1.8.1.10 is not the latest version.

6 rx 550 or 6 rx 560 +your choice of ryzen cpu makes it easy with a 750 watt psu.

Not to mention it wont break the bank to setup a low cost mining rig.

I don't understand why you would build a mining rig around a Ryzen CPU though. When it comes to mining, EFFICIENCY is the only key and major enemy. With the ryzen motherboards available right now you would be constrained to at most 8-GPU rigs. Compare that to the efficiency of a 13-GPU or better yet 19-GPU rig and what do you have..

I would say ryzen CPU mining is for gaming rigs who just want the option to mine but are not seriously doing it for profit.

I have 2 rigs with 6 GPUs and 1 Ryzen 1700

It's very efficient, and I have less problems than a 19gpu rig for example
It's easier to solve any problem

Probably should have gone cheaper but it fit my set up for the current time being. To be able to keep my old gaming PC mining without any outputs and build an APU to use as a computer until i load up on FE's soon. A 6 FE rig is plenty for my first dedicated rig. Now debating whether to wait for intel's new mining cards though. Nothing is ever perfect in the mining world....

Not everyone has the money and space to have a 13-19 CPU rig...

And some people do use the computer for more than mining, keeping them on and mining when working is done.

ryzens g-series have only half of cache memory, amd was not able to fit gpu core and big cache on this die. So it will not be as good for cryptonight as classic ryzens are

So, the Ryzen 2400g is mining 850 h/s on IPBC without GPU enabled. I'm not the biggest techie, but it BSOD with CPU/GPU with stock settings. I'm sure if someone figured out a proper code it would mine near a stock 1700.

Ryzens are beasts on Cryptonight.

On other algos, they suffer a bit. Can't really tell if from their architecture, or poor optimized software.

My 1700 does 17 H/s on Arionum with 14 Threads (Argon2i + SHA512), while my puny 15W i7 7500U (laptop) does 10 H/s on 4 threads...

Verium Blake2s wasn't brilliant also.
