Quote
just a little longer we wait

Im not sure anything was achieved by just waiting, seems a mistake.   Either something is building or falling apart and time discovers which.

When we talk about building volumes thats both a positive and negative.   Its pressure and where are we without any pressure but too much and the network is under strain and possible will break.      I dont bet on anything so dramatic but I figure pressure leads to deformation and expansion in paths not intended.

If the people who decide the protocol have the same attitude that nothing is required, success is assured then if I know my Greek tales right then collective arrogance has a different fate for us.   Competitive capitalism if it is still relevant in bitcoin is a destructive force, it destroys inefficiency and I would guess that is what happens when doing nothing while pressure builds not exponential growth

I think 2470 may be pivotal currently.   My guess is a sell off from 3000 is not well founded

"Technically, bitcoin is strong. In the week-long picture confidently holds above the bollinger and above 70 RSI (bubble mode).

On the daytime from not pleasant I observe only divergences on RSI. For MACD is not confirmed. Everything else is good. Volumes are growing."

You mean I have to wait a whole 2 years.....possibly 2.5 years for this to reach $40k-$100k??

Dear dear.

Fuck this, I'm out.

 Cheesy Cheesy

Sometime in October/November we should be north of $20,000. So, just a little longer we wait.

Does anyone have an update from the Russian front for us?

I still think we will trace the fractal (2012-2013). And are somewhere in the area marked in red. The scale is logarithmic. Linear-the place where we are going to be difficult to distinguish from the "floor". Hehe. (Я пo-пpeжнeмy cчитaю, чтo мы тpaccиpyeм этoт фpaктaл (2012-2013). China is nearly $100 below Western prices. Small correction could be happening right now or possibly soon, looks like most Western exchanges are just staying flat right now. Not big news but just something seemingly unnoticed.

95% of the altcoins will fail regardless of what bitcoin does, it's those 5% you need to watch out for.

ETH is already 1/4th of the value of bitcoin. Dash is also a large contender.

Bitcoin is not invincible, and they should not act like they are.

Just curious, but how is Bitcoin acting like "they" are invincible? Apart from the few individuals on whichever side of whichever argument that can be conjured, I think most of us in crypto see any kind of dominance from any coin as ultimately good. Bitcoin grows, alts grow. Altcoins grow, so does Bitcoin.

In general, you would be right. Bitcoin IS like a large star with a massive gravitational field. When it grows it pulls others with it. In the long term.

In the short term it burns them to crisp as speculators sell their bags to participate in the formation of bubble.

We could observe that clrearly already back in 2013. First in bull market. Then in reverse during bear market. At first altcoins skyrocketed as speculators left bitcoins near apex and bought stashes of alts. Entire cryptocurrecncy market ballooned by then.

However, once it was clear that Bitcoin, the star was in for downwards spiral, all altcoins followed suit, many crashing even harder as their price was so much easier to manipulate.

Yea but this gravitation not need to be necessary to be good thing for alt, its ok for them now but what will happen next will they still follow or will they stop at some point or they will first fall. Sure this is good for those who mine alt but for me bitcoin will remain prime one have some strange feeling that when one alt start falling all will rapidly follow. That is big lost for investment from this point.

Yeah, there's a reason virtually every alt coin is tanking. The BTC train is clearly leaving the station.

we are in a unexplored land....
we are doing highest high ever!!!
now it's good for liquidate last long position and buy alts...

I dont think so. We might see a small correction, but the next all time high is well above current price level.

1700-2000 per bitcoin might be in the play.
