I am not able to synchronize the wallet "0 active connections" I already synchronized it but I had to reboot to make the stake and I sent 17 thousand 1337. Somebody help me

I downloaded 1.8.0, used the bootstrap and added all nodes from coinexchange but there is no connection, sometimes there's one but only for a few seconds, so it doesn't sync beyond #908411. 1337.conf @ appdata. What am I missing?
EDIT: OK, after 2 hours it found a few nodes and synced up, don't know why it was that slow when they are all added.

This is good as I didn't even know 1337 coin was up for voting on Livecoin. I'll make an account and start voting and hopefully we can get listed on there asap. Also it could be a good time to pick up some cheap 1337 coins as the market for all crypto currencies is in a down trend so there are many cheap coins out there and I think 1337 coin is one of them as I believe this coin is more of a long term hold then short term.

i updated today to version 1.8.0. i had some coins missing from nova since i had the 1.7.0 wallet version i guess. After i updated the wallet, still the coins are not showing, i can see the coins and the completed transactions in the block explorer, and my wallet is stuck saying there are 0 connections. I also tried to start the wallet in another machine using a backup from my wallet, but there its not syncing at all, still having the problem with 0 connection. Can you give any idea on what should i do to troubleshoot this?
Edit: forgot to mention, i already have the 133.conf file with the nodes on both machines.

file name should be 1337.conf ...is the above name just a typo or do you actually have it as 133.conf

Did you try the blockchain for fast sync?

Awesome contest mate! To get more exposure for this maybe you could start a thread in the Altcoin marketplace as you will most likely get a lot more people interested and at the same time get more exposure to 1337 coin. I would also add this thread on there too so people can also check out what 1337 coin is all about. I will promote this contest on Twitter as well to hopefully spark some interest as the prize is really good at 1 million coins.
