Usually when people can't sync its a firewall issue.

You can put some addnode statements in the 2GiveCoin.conf file

# SEED NODES

addnode=185.243.114.27
addnode=192.169.7.65

any coins sent are not lost.  you can look up your public key on the explorer!

http://bit.ly/2GiveCoin

as I am skeptical about such a design and besides there have already been such projects that failed, I think this is not secure, as many programs exist for hacking. will be interested in the fate of this project

Online:  https://chainz.cryptoid.info/2give/#!network

Or in the wallet:   getpeerinfo from console

Wallet should always be dialing home to seed.givecoin.io and seed2.givecoin.io to bootstrap

Just talked with Doug Scribner the CEO of VaultLogic.com and he confirmed that 2GIVE is the next coin to be added to their amazing crypto kiosks!

http://vaultlogic.com/

We have one located at the Strength in Numbers Foundation "RealWorld/1" coworking and event space in Saint Paul, MN!

Come see us (and the machine) sometime -- here is our meetup.com group:

Cheesy   Found a bit of BottleCaps code && stamped a lot of memories, do not miss testing with the chains that take to long to process.. If a person can't download && use said software in under an hour, adaptable db are key (not 1's that create a lag of time consuming storage, just my 2 sat0lites)  Cool

https://github.com/TestingCrypto/2GIVE/commit/de52a1db330bf78434c357ff0946b7f6e1c4923a

this is why we need Predictable Hard Forks -- to shrink down the chain to something easy to sync on a regular basis...

// 1000's of altcoins with the users having to serve the application, not the application serving the user  && or building applications backwards  Undecided

It's just a false positive as is common with wallets and miners.  You really didn't know that as a Sr. Member?

A friend is a stupid analogy ....
I saw wallets where more than 30 different viruses were.
And I saw others where none.

To risk and put any rubbish that can spoil the device I do not want.
Especially now there are a lot of scammers, for example coins Hightcoin and RPI coin...

Hey Duke, found a bit of old code well learning GitHub + the process of building a block explorer to test with & WILL keep testing  Grin

// thought about adding an issue on GitHub, am on a testing branch with 108 commits tho (have not started using Git to update multiple changes in one commit yet)  && figured it might be better 4 U to push the updates on the master branch (just in case my changes are wrong or miss spelled).

Gave a few hours to testing code factor, way better than sifting threw the code by hand/eye  Smiley

>>Link to site >>

// C- to C+ after fixing the simpler issues && thought you may or may not have use for it  Smiley
// also testing a .AppImage GUI, thinking about seeing if I can recreate one for 2Give & will post my test  Smiley

Edit: surely you have done all this 100 times, just bored & thought that I would bump the thread with my daily testing of learning the world of coding  Smiley

Thanks TestingCrypto!  You're the best!

i loaded it onto an old iPhone and it seems to run -- interesting mix of coins it supports -- not exhaustive and most I'd never heard of so 2GIVE would be the Belle of the Ball!

[Request For Comment]

Hello 2GIVE Friends!

We have been contacted by satowallet.com with an offer to add 2GIVE to their mobile wallet for IOS and Android.

Does anyone here have any experience or comments you can share ??

Is it a good reputable wallet company??

-dvd

Download the wallet and turn on "compete for block rewards"

Once we get the mobile wallet released we'll be doing a massive airdrop as we move the rest of our original GiveCoin* wallets to the offline Give2SNF* trust fund.

Any bounty of this project?
