(42-v0.0.8)

PoS reward: 0 coin // makes 42 an extremely rare
Min stake age: 42 hours

Found the answer

Hey, Joseph. Yes, the miner/POS thing is odd. But it gives us a splendid long-term deflationary coin.

Important Announcement

the servers that 'boost' 42-coin's blockchain are down. It concerns the war in Ukraine. Rich and AKKPP and I have been unsure about what to say. But the simple fact is that the blockchain is not working properly. Has not been for a fortnight

EDIT  Slight improvement. We are monitoring the situation closely

EDIT EDIT

The situation is much improved. Got blocks flowing fairly well

Good to see you back here, AKKP -- have you found your pubkey yet?

Sent an encrypted message to AKKPP

Yes, we wrote an encrypted message...
it worked even though no new blocks were made...  Shocked

Try it for yourself: Enter >listaddressgroupings< into the console and your "PubKey address" will not appear there!
You can only find your "PubKey address" in the register where you choose your addresses for incoming coins...  Wink

And my mistake was that I took this coin42 address from the >listaddressgroupings< for my "PubKey address"
and that can't possibly work to decrypt an encrypted message!  Roll Eyes

Okay, you are here. That's good. I sent some encrypted news to Laser today.

Rich and I have both sent messages to Laser. We understand he is okay. Meanwhile, we are working on some small projects to push 42-coin along.

EDIT  Good morning. Got a message from Laser this morning. All is well. But 'AKKPP' -- on both the Telegram and Discord channels -- is not 'Zzzz'. He can't decode a security message. Let us wait and see.

No one can use "Zzzz" as a name without being associated with Russia, so I changed my telegram name...

I am following with interest what is going on. The drama in Ukraine will drive oil prices. Gold and coal and LNG are up.

Now let's see if cryptos start to follow the trend

Trading and prices okay across our exchanges.

Trying to mine 42 coin... The only pool is https://mcmpool.eu but I only get ORPHANS.  Not working.  Any advice. Thanks

Hi, if you look at the first page, you will see 42coin has been POS for years now.

I keep seeing random pools from it, but the block reward is always ZERO.

Although it says Zero + TX fees, in the last 2 years i have never come across anyone who has mined a block and got anything other than zero....
Also, i have 0.00004000 42 coin, and in over 2 years it has never staked once.

All in all, pretty dead coin really.

I don't think 'can't be successfuly mined' = 'pretty dead.'

42-coin is specifically a super-rare crypto. And as global inflation choofs along -- there's no doubt now that stimulus $$$ have put the cat among the pigeons -- its rarity will keep it on people's radars. And being POS will also be an attribute that continues to attract attention.

And development? Wallet is up to date. A 42-coin token is to be released soon on PancakeSwap (Whoooo!). We're listed on four exchanges -- although volume is always a concern for rare cryptos (and losing both Live Coin and Altilly really was a blow).

Pop in in a few months, and say hello. We're not at all dead!
