I understand that you have no control or responsibility for whatever HitBTC does or does not do, and I did not mean to imply otherwise. It's just too bad that for those who don't have the hardware to mine Aeon, HitBTC was for many months the only place where you could buy coins and transfer them to your own wallet, so many people ended up using them. Hopefully HitBTC will come through for their clients and everybody will get their coins.

I do not recommend using mixin 0 unless you are an expert and prepared to handle the delays/issues (mixin 1 should probably not be used at all).
It looks like many people have problems withdrawing Aeon from HitBTC, and of course they don't have any choice in the mixin number, as it is up to HitBTC... Btw, if mixin 1 is not to be used, should it perhaps be disabled?I also don't have any control over what software version they use. It can't really be fully disabled because there are some situations where your coins can't be spent at a higher mixin. Despite the possibility of delays and expired transactions at least you have a chance to recover your coins if you keep trying (and now can use the new fee multiplier option to push it through).

I reckon its definitely nothing to do with Aeon network or Bittrex, its HitBTC doing something dodgy like they always do. I'll probably never use that exchange again, and ill make sure to tell everyone I know as well.

It really seems like they are just locking the withdrawls purposly until the currency crashes again then letting the withdrawls run again..
If they dont work .. they need to put up a warning or turn them off... instead people are locked in a pending status indefinatly

ya just did... alot of transactions going. but you cant transfer off of hitbtc... even though the wallets open..

I have same problem, its been more then 24hrs for me and still nothing. I did a transfer from aeon desktop simplewallet and that took about 1hr, and it came up on bittrex as a pending deposit waiting for confirmations just after 10min. But from hitbtc still nothing, I think ill never use them ever again, that exchange soooooooo dodgy.
Its insane... They gave no warning.. Gave no announcement and the wallet is still available for withdraws..
more and more people are getting locked into a pending status... This is market manipulation if there eved was one.
Absolutely un proffessional... 54 hours for a authorized withdrawl for aeon makes me NEVER want to buy or invest. HITBTC is not communicating with anyone..
People are coninuing to try to withdrawl just to get locked...

What would be a relatively cheap but VERY efficient machine to install the wallet on in Linux (preferably)? I heard it needs 12Gb of ram?
