How long does it take to earn some AEON with a hashrate of 900 h/s? I have been mining but no reward yet.
Do you recommend to join https://aeon-pool.com/?

I am solo mining on a Intel Core i7 5280K with simplewallet and aeond.

Not sure if ihave setup thing s right, when minig is startet from the wallet, the reward will automaticly go to my wallet?

Do you recommend a other way of mining?

Hi to all fellow aeon miners,
if I'm not asking too much, someone could upload an updated blockchain.bin file?
Or post a link here or pm it to me where i can download an updated file?
Is taking me days to sync it properly.
Thanks in advance.

Don't really know about a blockchain to dl, but here is a list of public nodes:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Aeon/comments/73829j/public_nodes_new_list/

You can sync simplewallet with them.

Is anybody able to sync the blockchain with the latest release?
Keep getting this message:

2017-Oct-16 11:51:40.780281 [P2P9]Failed to connect to any of seed peers, continuing without seeds

What to do? Makes this project useless if you can't sync and won't be able to use or even create a wallet ..?
Can anybody please upload their p2pstate2.bin file? Thanks

i dont have p2pstate2.bin too
i cant find aeon folder in roaming or program data what am i doing wrong?

Which pool do you use for mining?

aeonpools.net

Theres a list of pools:)
Would be great if you support smaller pools for decentralizing the network

Problem is, we've sent them about 5 different emails within 10 days to list our Poolele.com , but they don't seem to respond. Do they "face control" listed pools or something?

I have the same problem. First they answered my ticket and told me to iniciate the withdrawal of all coins.
I did and then no answer for over 1 month. Maybe they wait until rebase is done or so. I've read that bigger amount of AEON must be split!?
I hope if AEON grows they will list it again. Then it should be no problem.

When recovering the aeon wallet from the Mnemonic Seed, is it still done like this?

Quote
Go to the folder containing simplewallet and run "./simplewallet --restore-deterministic-wallet", entering your mnemonic seed when prompted. NOTE that this will simply restore your wallet keys. You will still need to scan a blockchain (either your local blockchain or a remote blockchain) to see your balance and make transactions.

havent tried it yet myself since there was never a need, but would be good to know in case

Should add an Aeon tips page to your site

Yeah had that in mind but want to verify first, that this is the common practice to retreive a wallet from seed before making it public

I'm pretty sure that's the correct way. I thought it's one of the most basic information for Aeon users, so I'm surprised that hiddenjadestone hasn't covered it already.

Tested and confirmed. Tomorrow will add to HJ.

Had same public address as i had on wallet already. Only downside of this is the rescanning of the blockchain. but this is only a small price to pay for restoring once wealth.

I dont think a view only wallet exists yet in AEON, can you confirm? tried out the monero parameter but didnt work....

Correct.

This error never occurred to me and looks strange. Aeon's seed node is maintained by smooth and should be up and running all the time.

Also WTF is this arno guy doing? Keeps cropping up this guy is he trying to break the network? or duplicate coins, double txs?

https://pastebin.com/qmpMptQA

Definitely not, arno is Arux's username on his Windows computer to build official Windows binaries for Aeon. You should be grateful for his service.

I'm not sure about those error messages, though.

@smooth    Would you please join our discord channel for AEON COIN, we are growing and want to be official. I am the admin and have over 350 members currently. Thanks

https://discord.me/aeon

You are considered as a spammer. Please stop it.

Is this not official group of Aeon?  Huh

I thought it was and joined the group  Lips sealed

Its definitly NOT the official group of aeon. Its a discord channel created by aeon_king.
There is no need for aeon to have a discord chat at the moment. it would be only a waste of time for smooth to be there. because people would expect from him to chatter there all day long so the pump/dump people have material to speculate on the price.

Oops, thank you for your information... What a spammer guy  Angry

The current official communication channels are afaik:

- this bitcointalk forum
- freenode #aeon (you can use a free irc webclient like: https://kiwiirc.com/client)
- Monero/AEON slack
- Reddit /r/Aeon/

Why would we use discord if we have already freenode channel that is sufficient:)
just my two sats

Thank you.

Maybe I am confused because his nickname and the way he wrote the post  Grin

Hiddenjadestone knows how to backup their wallets so there was never a restoration needed:P

One never stops to learn, glad i was asked by another user recently, so i can add that to the KM, havent thought about before:)

Will test it out tonight to verify that it works before adding it
