Artwork on the cards is pretty awesome, and the ties to crypto themes is very cool. Hope the card game has popularity outside of crypto though as well, would be fun to play.

Augmentors whitelisted all early SoG supporters in their pre-sale and additionally they cooperated with SoG offering a precious cross asset card (GENOFLIGHT) playable in both games which is a great way of getting more attention and synergetic effects.

We are speaking to them and certainly SoG was the pioneering game showing everyone the possibilities that blockchain based trading cards can bring to the video gaming industry. Our game will be quite different from SoG though.

What about a pre-ico whitelisting those xcp-addresses, who bought mini-ico cards like Augmentors did for SoG early supporters?

There is no typical "ICO" right now but you already can secure yourself some of the rarest cards of the game. They are linked in the OP. The cards are tokens based on the Counterparty protocol.


Yes - thank you, randombit! This is a major achievement and we are very thankful for it. We started offering Woodcoin's Guardian end of November and it took less than 5 months to reach this milestone. Congratulations to everyone who took the initiative to secure himself one of these very rare pieces. Everyone else: You can try your luck finding an offer for a Woodcoin's Guardian on the Counterparty Dex - or try to find him by purchasing card packs when the game is released.

Thank you for the suggestion! We are indeed currently exploring ways for physical manifestations of cards and already are in conversation with a great partner to realize this endeavour on a certain level.

Meanwhile, development is of course ongoing and everything is progressing in the right direction. Patrick, a great mind in the crypto space has joined the team as a Community Developer and will soon launch an interesting contest in this thread that will be quite cool to participate in. Also, next week, we are going to onboard an additional team member for the front-end.

Additionally, next month, there is another nice thing happening that we will be glad to announce.

Wow, the Myriad art is gorgeous. Compliments to the artist.
Makes me want a real physical collector's copy of some of the cards. You could use the NEM Apostille (notarization) service to prove that the card is the original and not a forged copy. Just a thought.

Anyway, looking forward to the game. Can't wait.

Very interesting project, great artwork. I never realised such a project existed, funny I never saw this ANN thread. From loyal collectors alone you guarantee the long-term lifespan of this alt. Alas, I have so little time to play or I would dive right in!

I'm also very much looking forward to gameplay, the card designs alone are top quality and collectible worthy.

I completely agree with you on that one.  So no ranks would solve the problem that SOG currently has where higher ranking members stop contributing in game asset retail.
