as a potential pool operator, is the "AMC Mining Pool" link on the homepage ever going to be a list of pools, or always just the one? Just curious if I'll always be working at that disadvantage or not. Haven't seen many coins that endorse a specific pool before.

Actually network already has hight diff and hashrate, so I think there will be no orphans, but finding these 5000 blocks will take a lot of time.
So when the mine can be

Reminder this coin has 0 block reward until block 14,000 so if you connected to my pool and didn't get rewards that is why. It is set up to start rewarding at 14,000+.
If you start mining now you'll get established in the PPLNS so you should get good rewards when 14,000 is reached
