I think the second ico is really BS, the coins are being sold on the exchanges and not to ico buyers. Why would someone in his right mind buy a coin for more than market price?
ico after the coin hit the speculative market is simply retarded. and to say people spent $4 million buying at a higher price is priceless.

How do you guys view AMP in relation to LSK?   I may consider picking up some AMPs if the price continues to drop further.

Synereo ICO Return Announcement
2016-10-25 18:30:00
Synereo conducted the second ICO on Sept 19th, and ended on Oct 18th. YUNBI offered ICO agency service for its users who are willing to participate into this ICO. After the ICO ended, YUNBI quickly sent the documentation about each user in this ICO to Synereo official team and claimed the AMPs for the users. However, due to unknown reasons, YUNBI never got valid responses after inquiring several times. Synereo refused to send AMPs back to YUNBI users after 7 days until the end of the ICO. Since the ICO ended, the price of AMPs faced a big slump, which is more than 30 % of the cheapest ICO price. The ICO participants will face a big lose.

In order to protect the participants of this ICO, YUNBI has to terminate this ICO service. The participants BTCs used in this ICO will return back to your account in 24 hours.

Fake. No news of such happenings can be found anywhere. Also, you'd think that we'd hear about this sooner.

All AMPs are dropping because bitcoin is up 4%. Man I love the bitcoin mini bubbles as all the traders think bitcoin will go to the moon on all upward swings. Makes altcoins cheap  Grin

No assets on the exchanges to buy more  Embarrassed
Prices this low makes me feel greedy… I start calculating how much AMP I would need to buy a small apartment in 3 years  Grin

In my part of the world I think it would be about 40,000 AMPs will be worth about $4 or 160k. This works for me.

FUN FACT

More AMP value was sold at the highest tier in the 2CO
of 2016 than was sold in the entire ICO in 2014!

That's a lot of support at 40k sat!

Those people are happy to buy more at the whale-droppings prices on the trading markets for a few more days.
Smiley

LOL!
I didn't read this!

Actually, a price drop is something I am glad for. I like to see things I like selling at a discount. But 99% will blame the market price drop and blame the Synereo team for it.

You guys do realize that the crowdsale buyers is losing money is not a good thing to Synereo, basically its because of their investment of 4.7M that there will be development....

If you're expecting a large return in the next week or two, it's probably not going to happen.  If you're willing to wait a little longer, I seriously think AMPs will easily hit $5 USD next year.  Synereo is leaps and bounds better than Ethereum and the full AMP distribution, in my estimate, is many, many years off.  The original crowdsale AMP purchasers couldn't recoup their money for literally months before it shot up to ~25k sat.  The bid side of the order book on Bitrrex was practically non-existent and sub 1000 sat for a long time.  I really don't think that will be the case this time because of the momentum Synereo / AMPs are achieving.  I expect a large increase in the near future.  Probably not next week... probably not the week after, but soon.  Patience is a virtue.

The priority of amp is to fire the Chinese bitch community manager-Dana Chan, or this project will fail, this bitch is stealing amp tokens from the team.

Nobody's ever heard of this "Dana Chan" chick.  What are you talking about?

She is in amp slack before, last time I saw her, she is a fucking crook and liar, she stole my job-Chinese Community manager for 50k usd annual salary at shapeshift.

She used synereo_zh account, if you don't know her maybe she was fired? Congrats lol

Patience guys! Even if 44k buyers lost about 50% of their investment value. Grin
There are people that bought at this price deliberately even though they knew on Poloniex it was cheaper, just to support the project. Also, someone that wants to buy a lot of AMP can't do this on Poloniex because he will pump the price much higher than 44k. And yes, there were also a few people that bought while not knowing that it was cheaper on Poloniex but being a dumbass is ones own problem, not that of the dev team.

The problem with Synereo at the moment is that there aren't as many updates following and until something new gets released, nobody should expect AMP to go to the moon yet. But once we are close to release it will go up a lot. So yes, patience is needed. So I don't know why you are laughing ? Or you have the IQ of a duck, or you just think you are interesting and funny but in reality you are not.

I suspect that the majority of AMP buyers have the intelligence to understand the tech and also understand market value will fall and rise. The final outcome is what matters when there is a useable product out there. it seems like the people complaining about price don't understand the vision and are just here for the short term.

the exchanges always had AMPs cheaper than investing directly in the ICO.   Even if you wanted to participate in the ICO, it was always better to buy directly on the exchange. Why people would directly invest in the ICO beats me.

The vast majority of people who participated in the sale bought in at a lower than market price when factoring in the bonuses Synereo provided during the campaign.

Honestly, I was about to invest in this, but did my research and realized 1) AMPs are already 50x what they were in their initial ICO and 2) the exchanges always had AMPs cheaper than investing directly in the ICO.   Even if you wanted to participate in the ICO, it was always better to buy directly on the exchange. Why people would directly invest in the ICO beats me.  The whole concept of multiple ICOs doesn't even make sense (other than to psychologically hype the price).  If the project is good enough, the price itself will rise based on demand.  The coin looks like its on a downhill trend, potentially as a market correction.

I dont think your argumentation is very good.
There was time when BTC was 50x its initial price.
There is nothing wrong with overpriced ICOs, it gives money to dev team, which makes everyones investment more valuable, and it does work as it made almost 5 mill. this last time. So it makes sense, it evidently fullfiled its pupouse. Also people in ICO were buying shares of company so its not just AMPs.
Downtrend is very possible, as there was uptrend with alpha release and new funds available to project. Cycle is law of market.

Bitcoin's 'initial price' is zero, what do you mean by "There was time when BTC was 50x its initial price."

And what does this mean: "Also people in ICO were buying shares of company so its not just AMPs."?
