Hi, Im Bitcoin trader and crypto enthusiast.
I just wonder any fools buy 40k in third ico instead of 32k in polo? They don't deserve own much money because they have head problem.
Well, because this is early investment and in crowdsale there is big investors who beleave in this very Legit project and willing to buy huge amounts for 40k at ICO AND buy AMP also from the market for low prices and hold long term. I just see that as a good oportunity for small investors to get in if you still didnt and get some cheap amps from polo while you can. The price WILL go up to 40k soon and dont worry about it because it will.

If you read the blog, Synereo is going to keep burning amps until they own less than 50% of the project.
Not sure where you are getting this 99% figure.

Figure of speach, 50% is still too much. It's like they need other bagholders to make it appear "decentralized" but without losing the centralized capital benefit. Anywhere between 0.1 and 20% may be reasonable depending on how ambitious a project is, but 50% is borderline insane. Looks to me like they don't believe in their project, in what they're doing, and they don't believe in the natural growth of their currency. That's the only reason someone would want minimum 50% of the cake. So if they cannot do signifiant development the price will not increase, in which case you need a big bag to compensate for the low price of the currency, which reflects project development and investors trust in it.

Thing is, i invested a small amount, almost 150euros in this thing. But, given the fact that they hold so much AMP it makes me believe there's no point to go long ( i wanted to go long, i'm no day trader ) because if the price signifiantly increases, then they'll dump to "fund" themselves so i'd have to do it before them. I find it impossible for the price to signifiantly increase given the fact that there's so much amp on idle.
A comparison, ethereum had 12mil out of 72mil for development. Imagine that amount, 12mil, as being 15 times higher to realise how bad this actually is.
Edit: wait, no. Imagine the total amount, 72mil, being 15 times higher, not the 12mil. My mystake.

The way you think is amateuristic.
Euhm, no, not really. His concerns are very legit. If the developers own 99 % of the coins, that is of course worrying for traders. And I think that was the exact reason why the team said it destroyed a certain amount of AMP, because they considered it to be unfair.

By the way, I don't think it is a good thing Zuckerberg owns so many Facebook shares. I thought it used to be forbidden for a company to buy its own shares. This is just a way to artificially pump its assets.

I know they need funds to fund themselves, obviously. But it's insane to own 99.9% of the tokens in existence as a funding excuse. It's way too much. Because these funds will return eventually to exchanges and not even early adopters will make any substantial profit for years even if the project is succesful.
A good comparison would be bitcoin mining asics. They're so expensive that the payback period can be as long as a year or more, and with difficulty constantly increasing, you'll never get to make any profit. The exact situation is with AMPs, the sooner the price will signifiantly increase, the sooner they'll dump more amps into the market to "fund" themselves and that will maintain a balance, meaning you won't get to make any profit unless you're an early adopter, and that's medium term prospect, 6-12 months.

So there's 63mil amp in the market today and 15x time this amount is waiting to flood the market as soon as the price increases. Well then why would i want to invest into it ? So the leadership can slowly release the 900mil into the market ? The inflation is insane, investors only invest if they can make profit, given the fact that synereo owns 15 times more than everyone else combined is borderline insane.

The way you think is amateuristic. All funds of the premine held by the founders are only used to fund the project. The fund goes towards developments. If there would not be any funds, there woudl be no developments and than your tokens will never be worth anything. For each dollar that is collected, the founders will create a multiple times that amount of value for the project.

This. Is. How. Investing. In. Technology. Works.

What do you think the shareholders of Uber, Google, Tesla, AirBnB or Facebook say when these companies held seed round after seed round. Their shares never inflated even tho Mr. Zuckerberg, Mr. Brin and Mr. Musk hold 70/80/90 sometimes even 99% of the share.

I think that the people who bought AMP's trough bnkofthefuture are not really the ones that will be dumping on the exchanges. Great way to get the additional necessary funding.

I agree, if anything, people investing that much are highly likely to hold for returns.

How many AMPs are currently in circulation and what will be the inflation rate ?
Also is it true that devs hold like most of the amps ?

All the info is detailed here:

Synero seems to be 100% legit. For now it has done more than Lisk and it's better investition than ETH.

We'll wait and see, I'm not sure how many AMPs will end up in circulation and I expect ETH to be one day worth considerably more than it is now. It's a great project and I will buy more AMPs but so far I've been happy with my Ethereum investment. In 12-18months I hope I can say the same about Synereo.

This is a well designed fundraising plan. Most ICO's will die in 3 year because they are unable to keep fundraising and they do not have revenues to support growth. So this may be scrutinised.

This second raise is the model actually. If Synereo was not raising now the project would die since the ICO raised $120k. Now with $4M the potential is the sky.

I see the need for the 2nd raise and if the money is well spent (and I'm sure it will be) then there will be a chance of this project also reaching 1B$ market cap as Ethereum has already done. The total amount of coins and their distribution is something I think is now really known(at least not to me) so as an investment goes I don't know whether it will be better. All I know is I support this project by buying AMPs as it is really interesting and ambitious and if I make money by helping fund this ... great!!!

There is a possibility that Synereo turns out to be a total scam, especially since it continues to have crowdsales where it over charges people. Honest people and ideas don’t treat their constituents this way. This isn’t to say it’s a guaranteed scam, but that we’re seeing how Synereo deals with investors – asking them to pay a higher price for AMP than the market is selling AMP. This is very suspicious behavior. It also hurts people who are new and don’t know better – the average person doesn’t know what a Satoshi is, which is why Synereo doesn’t list a standard price on their sale. You’ve been warned. From: http://fintekneeks.com/synereo-warning/

Comments about this? Anyone?

What price would you choose for the sale?
What "standard price" would you list?

Ignore the troll.
I would list the crowdsale at 200k sats, personally

Facebook to Decrypt “Secure” Messages Over Cyber-Bullying Accusations

http://www.infowars.com/facebook-to-decrypt-secure-messages-over-cyber-bullying-accusations/

Fuck Facebook, it's one giant spying machine.

Implying that "secure" messages exist on Facebook and everything isn't already decrypted.

Yes Facebook is a spying machine. The faster we can move to a private, and decentralized web the better.
