how many block remain to halving reward ?

990,000 x.5 (30sec) =495,000 (min) / 60 (hour) = 8250 / 24 (day) = 343.75 days to halving (appx. 1yr)

thanks bro ... but UTC lunched 1 feb ... and block reward halved twice from 200 to 100 and then 100 to 50 ... if need 1 year for halving block reward how block reward halved twice from 1 feb till now ? i cant undrsatnd it ...

It hasn't halved.  That's your problem.  It's always been 50 since launch.

yes yes i am sorry you say true ... thanks brother

I am using ultracoin miner as well. Last thing that comes to my mind would be drivers. I have 13.11.
It's not a driver issue. Some cards are better than others. My 7970 does 730kh/s on LTC but only 500kh/s on UTC and I've tried at least 200 different conf. settings.

Please use other small pools to spread hash rate

@ Imginy and dcgirl

I will Edit this to my explanation above to help:

A final way to check that you have successfully unlocked the wallet correctly;   Hover your mouse pointer over the "locked" icon (at the bottom right) of your wallet.  If you entered correctly;  it should say "Encrypted and Unlocked".

Thanks so much,

My wallet is now encrypted and unlocked.

Hopefully I will see some interest building up soon Smiley

PROBLEM WITH MINING

guys i have AMD 6970

with cgminer i get 350-400 khs on usual scrypt coins.

now running cgminer for UTC i got... 20khs.

anythign to tweak ??

Are u using Ultracoin Miner?
Did u run it with the correct scrypt-jane settings?
Did u have ur 6970 undervolted? Might want to add about 0.015 VDDC then.

im using proper miner from the thread yes.
here is my setup:
ultracoinminer -o stratum+tcp://pickaxe.pool.pm:3306 -u NAME -p x --scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600

yes i do have it underclocked a bit [not undervolted tho].

ive got two 6950s. your rates with scrypt-jane will be about 60-75% of scrypt hash. here are my settings if youd like to use as a starting point..

ultracoinminer -o stratum+tcp://ultra.coinsnipers.com:3339 -u name -p pw --scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600 -w 256 -g 1 --temp-overheat 85 --thread-concurrency 9500,9500 --intensity 18,16--gpu-fan 100,100 --gpu-engine 800,800 --gpu-memclock 1325,1325

on one card, intensity is lower to keep my temp down. im using a tower and not necessarily a super cool unit.

im sure i can go more, but i get 225kh from one and 217kh on the other. seems to be ok at this point.

be sure you have replaced --scrypt in your .Bat or .Conf with:  --scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600

with a 6970;  maybe also start with  -tc 8192 -g 2 -w 256 --scan-time 0 --queue 0 --expiry 5.

You can play around with settings more if you like;  see if that helps.   Note Jane is appx 25% lower hash than normal scrypt.

Edit: also make sure you have the modified CGminer listed in the OP. Or modify an existing CGminer with Jane patch.
