@Mixero, I noticed that your old Onion address, "mixerokn7affrf6cf3xdfitwqdqzoz5mejnlwpl2gjbl6n5zvn4xw3ad.onion," isn't working anymore. What's the story behind this?

I've also noticed that there is a link on the clearnet domain to the new onion address, but it strikes me as a bit irresponsible to switch up onion addresses without notifying the community. After all, users save those addresses in their bookmarks for convenience and to stay safe from phishing attacks. It'd be nice to keep the community in the loop, don't you think?

As per the discussion with them few months ago, they lost the key of the address so the old onion address is no longer in operation. The signature campaign signature has the correct onion address and their ANN also has been updated with the new onion address. You are advised to use onion address either from signature or from their ANN.

I guess they are not much active in the forum to leave every update unfortunately.

OK, thanks for the info! I will also notify LeGaulois, so that he updates his topic: "2023 List of Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites"

Future updates :
It will also be possible to use the API for your own service, with the option of configuring your own fee address and fee percentage.

It seems like a very good idea.

Can the two modes Coinjoin and Advanced be implemented through the API? Will it be possible to create a website and implement both modes with the API?

More information about the API is coming soon.

Any estimate of when it will be available? in a few months maybe? Smiley

Hello, the API will work for both methods. Using our API you could actually create your website that would work with it. We can't give an exact estimate but it should be ready within the next month.

Hello, we have replied to your email. We are experiencing a liquidity problem for our advanced method, we do not have an exact timeframe for when the problem will be resolved. It should be solved in a few hours. We are currently working to solve it as soon as possible.
If you already have a problem with liquidity than you should clearly state that on your website and not wait for people to discover this themselves, especially since this is supposed to be ''advanced'' mixing method Tongue
I don't see any messages showing this and same thing would happen to me now if I proceed with advanced mixing now.
Fair thing in this situation would be to either disable it temporary, or at least warn people they will have to wait longer to receive their coins.

Hello, this is the first time we've had this problem, which was resolved fairly quickly. Everything is now operational. This shouldn't happen again, but if there are any problems with our advanced method an error message will be displayed in the future.

Hello, I'm faced with a problem that I can't understand how long it takes to receive a transfer, I've been waiting for more than six hours, I chose the advanced method.
I tried to contact the support service by email which is listed on the website [banned mixer]@protonmail.com.

The email tracker shows that the message has already been reviewed, but no one has been answering me for a long time.
The blockchain shows that the transfer was made to the specified wallet, but nothing else happens.

I can't find any explanation.

Do I have to pay the 0.0003 BTC fee for advanced mode too?

Hello, the fee of 0.0003 BTC is only for the coinjoin method. The advanced fees are only service fees but also mining fees which are quite minimal.

Thanks for the reply.
What are the advantages of coinjoin method over advanced method?
I feel that the anonymity is inferior to advanced method, although the fee is higher than advance mode.
What are the advantages of using coinjoin method?

Hello, additional costs (0.0003 BTC) are deducted when using coinjoin. But on the other hand, the minimum service fees are quite low compared to the minimum advanced service fees, which makes all the difference on large sums.

We recommend that users who are very concerned about their privacy use our advanced method, which is much more anonymous than coinjoin. The principle of this method is to use monero as an intermediary to prevent any on-chain analysis.

Coinjoin, on the other hand, allows several users to combine their transactions into a single transaction, making it difficult to determine the correspondence between inputs and outputs.

1. Outages can happen once in a while due to DDoS attacks and other technical issues. What do you do in this case when the service goes offline for 24 hours, with some user orders not yet processed? If by that time the letter of guarantee is obsolete, how will the innocent users prove to own the funds in unfinished orders?
The letter of Guarantee comes first and in the letter they give you has sending address . You can always verify the LOG. One should not send any coin without verifying the signed message of LOG.

2. A second link to the terms of service could also do well at the footer of the home page of the site.

Hello, even if in the worst case scenario the site is down, the user must have downloaded the letter as soon as the payment was created. As soon as the user sends the funds, the letter should already have been downloaded. We do everything we can to prevent this from happening, in particular by using DDoS-Guard and our own firewall.

If the user has not had time to download the letter and the website is unavailable for several hours, we may help the user in another way than with the letter only if we judge that the situation and the state of the website may have caused the user not to download the letter.

Hello everyone, we'd like to clarify a few things about our privacy and data retention policy.

When users send funds on our service their data and session will be kept for a maximum of 24 hours, if a delay is selected the data will be kept for 24 hours in addition to the duration of the delay chosen.

In the event of a problem or non-receipt of funds, they must contact us before the end of the session. Please note that our coinjoin method takes about 1 hour to complete a mix and 45 minutes for our advanced method, so don't wait to contact us if these times have been exceeded. Please also note that contacting us after the session duration will render the letter of guarantee obsolete and therefore the user's funds will be lost.

Session lengths may seem short, but we believe they are necessary to maintain the privacy of each and every one of our users.

All this information is clearly explained in our terms and conditions, as well as a warning message in our letter of guarantee.

Have a nice day!

UPDATE:

Hello, we've just implemented the delay function as promised. We only have a 24h maximum limit for the moment as we keep user data for 24h maximum as stated in our terms of service. We are working on increasing the delay duration.

24 hours is too low, to be honest. I have used another mixer (don't want to shill them here) and it was a pleasure that I could keep my fund there for a long time and I can move the fund at any later date. In that way, it's pretty hard to get tracked by someone. You must increase the delay. I don't know how mixero works but with 24 hours only delay, it may get more easier for some party to identify. You can consider having the fund in mixero for an unlimited time so people can use/access them at any later date.

An update is scheduled for tomorrow. The maximum delay should be 168 hours (7 days). Please note that we will keep user data for x hours if the user has selected x hours of delay. Users who select 0 hours will have their data deleted 24 hours after the payment has been created.
