With the rise in difficulty, the coin is already not profitable, the average price of BEAM is around $1.10 which is not sustainable.

for 1080ti average sol/s = 15
for 1070 average sol/s = 9

current Network hashing rate is 2.5Msols/s or 2,500,0000 = 166,666 gtx 1080ti.

Profitability calculations are as follows:

(Miner sols / Network Sols) X (1440 x Reward per block)

1440 min because 1 block generated per min

(15/2,500,000) x(1440x80) = 0.6912 BEAM approx per day per 1080ti =0.76 cents per 1080ti before electricity cost.

Good luck to the project hopefully price will go up.

Mate you need to install new miner - gminer 1.17

About the Vulnerability Team Beam discovered on January 9th, 2019.
https://medium.com/beam-mw/team-beam-discovered-a-critical-vulnerability-in-beam-wallet-658f2c0344e2

Very confusing...

So i installed the new wallet ( 1.0.4028 ), used the paswords to get it working again.

One thing is, the old adress i placed as NEVER now expires tomorrow.
So i made a new adress again with expire NEVER.

So, are the coins i had (have ) send before safe on that adress, or are the going to vanish tomorrow.

Or should i send then to the new NEVER adres in my wallet.

What is the DAA? It's VERY jumpy. It's overshooting and undershooting constantly, and with Beam being probably the most profitable for GPUs by some margin, I find it hard to believe people are constantly reacting to the difficulty (yeah there's still that but I find it strange)..

Also the 10% treasury, well let's say we have a miner with 0 electricity and hardware cost making up 10% of all miners at all times - how is the emission **from** the treasury regulated?

Question for miners, when mining on AMD cards, do you prefer Ethereum-like clock / voltage settings or Cryptonite-like clock settings?

I never change in my MSI Afterburner. I leave as is all settings from ETH. No any different if change or not.

Thanks, I may also try cryptonote favouring clocks if I have the time, will post here if anybody's interested.

How do you lower the voltage in the miner for RX 580 cards?
It doesn't seems to accept cvddc and mvddc value and i can only change the power limit, even if i tried to tick the voltage control..

Here is what i get with my rig:
Performance: 8.60 sol/s 6.47 sol/s 8.40 sol/s 8.13 sol/s 9.00 sol/s 8.47 sol/s 7.60 sol/s | Total: 56.67 sol/s

Oscillate between 51 and 57 Sol/s @ 1100/2100 MHz

In windows you can use OverDriveNTool

Perfect!
Awesome, i even got better power than when i use claymore lol

1270W for 8xRX580 and 3x1060

Thanks a lot Cheesy
