Hi ok this is important.

We need to raise some BTC by monday for the dev to start. We have searched for developers for a long time but as yet have not found one that is wanting to work for beecoins and prefer to have BTC. Probably because as yet we are not even on an exchange.

If there is agreement we will auction off IOU's to the new coin from the development pot. We have been discussing this for months.

I suggest we sell the beecoins at 15 litoshis which is above the market rate it was going for before.

I would like to raise BTC to give to him before monday. So he can get started.

If someone can calculate batches we will sell for 0.05 BTC minimum then let's go with that.

I don't want to be dealing with lots of little 0.00001 btc amounts because we need to raise a reasonable amount. Also enough to get us on one exchange mostly likely yobit or something bittrex is out of the question right now.

This developer is only available for next week so we have to move on this.

To get the ball rolling I will offer to buy 0.05 BTC worth of coins at the rate everyone thinks is fair for us to sell the IOUS for.

I hope some others in the community will also come forward and purchase some. I'm not sure if most of the community is gone now or what but if we can raise perhaps 0.5... that's just 10 people buying 0.05 worth then perhaps we can get something done.

Every Beecoin holder will be happy to see any action here. Forget soopy and move on. I'd suggest to do 1:1000 swap and think about rebranding.

If participants do not argue - it means all agree with the proposal. 

I think a COIN SWAP with a reduced ratio of 1:1000 will be suitable for Beecoin, but this is open for discussion.

Devs mostly want BTC.

However a smart dev will realise there is great opportunity here.


1. it was a fairly mined pow coin.
2. there was no premine
3. there is a huge development pot
4. there is a block tax


so it's a good opportunity for developer to own a huge amount of the coin FAIRLY with FULL CONSENT of the community to develop as he sees fit.

If I was a highly talented dev looking for a project I would consider this because nowhere else can you find a fairly mined POW coin and get 25% of the minting with the communities consent.

In fact if we can Identify the ALLCOIN wallet and destroy it then it will be a lot more than 25% .

Actually its on the OP and is 10% of each new block.

This can be used also as incentive for a new dev or dev team.

There is little feedback from the community as to the auctioning of the beecoin community coins.

I guess we can start to auction them off on this thread since it is a dead coin without any funds to get this coin upgraded.

Perhaps if we have some BTC waiting then a new dev will come forth. Who knows if they get interested in beecoin perhaps they will stay and work for bees in future.

There is a DEV FUND = 25% of total money supply, that is being held in a safe location, but we need a DEV to continue this project.

Is the stake rate 1% with the new coin as well ?

Yep, that's SoopY's song in the last 2 years.  Showing up after a good long while, posting a list of plans and promises, then disappear only to show up later with some "personal matter to attend to" boo hoo.

Now I don't want to sound ungrateful or anything like that, but after 2 years it's getting tiresome.
