I'm sorry to hear that about Coinomi. If you still have Bela there, it is the Legacy Bela. Please do not send ERC20 Bela to Coinomi if you do buy more.

Seems you have been right about coinomi not swapping/managing anything.

Seems the coins there are lost, right?

No worries, i'am not going to cry a river as you warned me ;-)

As you still mention the coinomi wallet is it still legacy or erc? To use it or not to use it?

Processing the swaps has been a very resource intensive undertaking for our team. We planned well for the transition, and for the last two months, we moved resources from our other Bela projects to focus on completing these within our timeframe. The cost has been significant, but we were excited to invest in the new upgraded Bela.

We initially planned to run the swap only from April 3rd to April 24th. Poloniex asked that we run it until May 31st to give them ample time to let their users know about the swap, and we agreed to this 5 week extension. We are confused at their decision to freeze users' accounts in the midst of our swap, but we cannot again totally rearrange our lives and carefully preplanned work schedule to reopen swaps.

They knew about our deadline, and they knew it was a hard cut off. Unfortunately, this incident is something that will need to be resolved with their support team.

Unfortunately, we are no longer supporting the Legacy Bela, and the swap to ERC20 Bela has closed. The swap ran from April 3rd to May 31st, and the end deadline was well publicized with Poloniex. If you have any Bela still on Poloniex, it is unable to be swapped.

Poloniex has locked all the legacy accounts from over 10 days. No one was able to get their coins out.
Poloniex did not even give any prior notice.  And did not reply to any tickets.

This has been covered by various news as well:
http://telegra.ph/Poloniex-Crypto-Exchange-Users-Claim-Accounts-Frozen-After-ID-Policy-Update-05-28-3

https://walletinvestor.com/magazine/poloniex-forces-new-kyc-policy-on-legacy-account-holders-while-failing-to-give-prior-notice/

THERE WAS NO WAY TO EVEN GET ACCESS TO THE POLONIEX ACCOUNT

Just read about all the complaints on reddit from 100s of users who have accounts frozen randomly by polinex in the last 15 days.

How convenient that the the "coin swap" closes the same time no one is able to withdraw from poloniex?
This is not a nice way of doing coin swaps, just running it for 2 months while not even supporting it offline.
What about all the other investors who have held for months without noticing the coin swap?

Hi team, can you manually process the swaps?
Pololiex had limited all the  old accounts for 3 weeks and was not able to withdraw

Sent you an PM as well, please suggest a way

Thanks

We were aiming for June, but now, we think we will want a little more time to market it. We expect Belacam to be done with the development phase sometime in the next 3 weeks, but a more realistic full launch is sometime in July. We want 3 - 4 weeks of marketing and promotion time before the launch begins so that we can generate enough hype and have a great launch day.

Bela has officially and finally swapped to an ERC20 token — Full steam ahead on Belacam for a public release this summer.

We will have a coin burning for all the old Bela that was swapped in, likely sometime in a week or two. We will announce the date shortly. Coinexchange.io should be reopening up the Bela market soon as well. It will trade the new ERC20 Bela.

SwapBela.com closes at 11:59pm EST on May 31st!

Be sure to swap your Bela by then. If you are holding Legacy (blockchain-based Bela), then you need to swap it to ERC20 Bela through SwapBela.com now. If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected].

@Boxalex, Coinomi is not supporting the swap. Please withdraw your coins from Coinomi to your Legacy Bela Deposit Address on Swapbela.com by May 31st. If you leave your Bela on Coinomi, once the swap closes at midnight, you will never again be able to swap over to claim your ERC20 Bela. This will be a huge problem when there is no where to trade Legacy Bela, so you will be stuck holding a worthless coin. The ERC20 Bela, on the other hand, is the token that will be used in our social media site, Belacam, when it launches this summer.

Over 1,500 swap requests have been made — when you fill the swap request out with the correct information (your ERC20 address, etc.), you get your Bela within 24 hours. When people supply incorrect information, we give them an email and get it sorted out quickly after.

It would be better to do the swap manually, cause you are at risk to stay with legacy bela, if coinomi will not support the swap.

Ok, will do so, but don't you check in advance who is supporting the swap and who not? I doubt i'am the only one holding Bela's in the coinomi wallet.

Ok, i checked all the ERC swapping help pages, the belaswap site and i do not feel comfortable with it and decided to let it be how it is, just on the coinomi
wallet and them taking care of it.

Seriously, i'am not an ERC wallet fan, so unhandy, complicated, not userfriendly and in my opinion even not safe enough.
So far coinomi has handled every fork or change quiet good, i will thrust them again......

Less than 5 days before swap will end. Go through swapbela.com if you want new erc 20 bela.

REMINDER: Be sure to swap your Bela by May 31st at SwapBela.com. No swaps will be processed after that — we've been talking about the swap since January / February, and it has been open for 2 months, so late requests will not be allowed.

If there is an error with your swap, the best way to reach us is at [email protected]. As for exchanges, Trade by Trade and Coinexchange.io both are supporting the swap. With those places, we think Bela will have a decent place to trade. Trade by Trade today ranks #51 in terms of 24h volume (Gemini ranks #50 for reference), and we're doing 5-digit volume on Trade by Trade, which is what the volume was before on Poloniex. Regardless, we still are actively seeking out larger and more diverse exchanges, but we are at least satisfied with the exchange situation for now. It works.

Once the swap process ends on May 31st (at 11:59 EST), we will transition our full focus towards finishing up Belacam, with hopes to finish the development in June, run heavy marketing for a couple weeks, and then launch it to the world!

What about the coinomi wallets? Normally these automaticly update/swap. Any info for that?

Any news about Poloniex or another exchange for the new Bela. At the moment it is nearly impossible to trade with the existing exchanges. I hope as ERC-20 token Bela will list at the many exchanges.
Sure, exchanges and bounties are on the way.
Great to hear that. I know the progress of the project and how Ambia is working hard but exchange must be one of the priorities of the team at the moment.
There is little time left until the end of the exchange of old coins for new bela tokens. After that, there will be a lot of good news and announcements. Everyone is waiting for the public release of the platform, and the opportunity to monetize their publications.
