I have, and I did again. sorta.

Long story short, I've emailed and submitted a ticket, have been told the ban is lifted but I am simply not able to get on via my own network, I have to hop on the neighbors wifi to go there and check teh status of the ticket.

And, btw, I am the one that got the Bens @20. Cheesy (while on my neighbors wifi of course.)

If difficulty doesn't drop in the next adjustment, we will consider an update to speed up retargeting

Benjamins are being traded @ 20 satoshis each on https://pmtocoins.com/index.php?page=trade&market=18

Who would even bother making a trade for a total of 400 satoshi? At any rate those buyers got a great deal.

Agreed, I wish I saw it, too

400 votes on https://www.mintpal.com/voting now

Remember you can vote for BEN 6 times per hour. Nice job so far

T. Jefferson snuck a picture in of me trying to figure out how to mail my votes in. This internet is very complicated for a man of my age

Noobish questions:

How do I add nodes to the Wallet QT??

Add them to benjamins.conf in Roaming/Benjamins/benjamins.conf - You may have to create this file

To find Roaming, Start Menu -> Search -> %appdata%

Then launch your QT as server either with a .bat that has benjamins-qt -server or just add -server in the properties of the QT exe

Have you considered a faster diff retarget?  Like  every few blocks fast? It seems like it's just too long right now for a new coin - miners come in, mine a few and leave, the diff is left way high and the retarget drags out forever. I also find a fast retarget more exciting - there is often an opportunity for small miners to find blocks solo when the diff drops, which keeps interest higher when the whales are away. I haven't read up on how the gravity well solution works, and I have no idea what is needed to change the retarget time (or if it is even possible) after a coin is released, but it's a thought.

Yes, we will give it at least a few weeks to see how things pan out when the hash settles to its normal rate before doing a hard fork, though. If anything, it's making it more rare by blocks being a bit slower right now. There's still under 2 million total

Added to OP:

What is a Benjamin?

The United States one hundred-dollar bill ($100) is a denomination of United States currency featuring statesman, inventor, and diplomat Benjamin Franklin on the obverse of the bill. On the reverse of the banknote is an image of Independence Hall. The $100 bill is the largest denomination that has been printed since 1969, when the denominations of $500, $1,000, $5,000, and $10,000 were retired

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing says the average life of a $100 bill in circulation is 90 months (7.5 years) before it is replaced due to wear and tear. The bills are also commonly referred to as "Benjamins", in reference to the use of Benjamin Franklin's portrait on the denomination, or "C-Notes", based on the Roman numeral for 100. The bill is one of two denominations printed today that does not feature a President of the United States; the other is the $10 bill, featuring Alexander Hamilton. The time on the clock of Independence Hall on the reverse, according to the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing, shows approximately 4:10 on the older contemporary notes and 10:30 on the series 2009A notes in 2013

On April 24, 2013, the Federal Reserve announced the new $100 bill would enter circulation on October 8, 2013. The new bill will cost 12.6 cents to produce and have a blue ribbon woven into the center of the currency with "100" and Liberty Bells, alternating, that appear when the bill is tilted

According to the Federal Reserve, more than two thirds of all $100 notes circulate outside of the United States making it the most popular banknote
Thankfully you didn't decide to call them C-Notes. Just imagine seeing the trading pair BTC/CNT up on an exhcange. Grin
