Uhhh guys... it seems the service has been seized unless ive been missing out on this knowledge... https://archive.is/BHe2p This is the current archive.

Just tried to use the mixer and found the seized message, this does not look too well....

Government once again trying to take away our privacy, this is getting ridiculous.

1) Is it safe to always use the same wallet to send to BestMixer prior to mixing?  In other words, is there any privacy concerns if I always use the same "pre-mixed" BTC wallet address to send in my BTC to BestMixer?

2) I did my very first mix the other day and I selected the Gamma Pool.  I was supplied with a Best Mixer Code but I don't think I technically need it if I'm only mixing in the Gamma Pool.  Is that correct?

1. I don't think it will be a concern if you mix a coin from the same previous address over and over again. But I don't know for sure yet, Maybe OP or someone who have the more technical ability able to explain it better.

After all, Re-using address is indeed reducing security and privacy, Nevertheless, I don't know if it still applies if it used to go through a mixing process.

2.
What do 'Alpha Pool', 'Beta Pool' and 'Gamma Pool' signs mean in the settings of the Service Fee? And what is the difference between them

Another important difference is that it is necessary to apply BestMixer code not to receive your coins back in the subsequent mixing when using the reserves of 'Alpha Pool' or 'Beta Pool'. If you use 'Alpha Pool' or 'Beta Pool' reserves, BestMixer code also guarantees a cumulative discount, depending on the volume of mixed coins. When using the reserves of 'Gamma Pool' in the subsequent mixing, it is not necessary to use the BestMixer code as it is impossible to get your coins back. The use of BestMixer code, when using the reserves of the 'Gamma Pool' in the subsequent mixing, does not give any discount, but fixes the total amount of mixed coins, and it can be used to get discount when using the reserves of the 'Alpha Pool' or 'Beta Pool' in the subsequent mixing.

Correct. Since a mixed coin from Gamma Pool option is received from a clear origin, So, you do not need to use the code to prevent receiving your coins back. Nevertheless, the code could give you a cumulative discount over Alpha Pool and Beta Pool option.

I already asked them that.

Here is their answer:

And how does the code thing works? How can you link someone's mixed coins to a code (to avoid receiving the same coins and to give special discounts to 'loyal users') and ensure anonymity at the same time?

It's very simple. We mark each address in our pool (only the address, but not binding to the visitor of the website) with a unique key, that does not allow anybody to get the same coins back when re-use BestMixer service.

Literally the stupidest thing i have ever seen on a mixing service
You say you don't keep client records, then what is this shit ? Giving discounts based on volume usage
Keeping records on how much coins were mixed

Edit: I understand it's optional. But a mixing service must provide anonymity in all direction instead of letting new users fall for this trap

Dear Friends,

thank you all for the answers.

Dear Jupiter2030,

looks reasonable to say that it is also very convenient to pay for any services directly from BestMixer using the function of our Fee calculator "To specify the exact amount".
Ideally, if you would like to pay for two or more services with time delays from your order page.
In this case, there is no need to study how coin control works.

Best regards,

Question (#4) Is it OK that both the old wallet #1 and new wallet #2 are created in the same Desktop Wallet?  In my case I'm am using Electrum.
the answer is yes and no,
yes it would be ok if you will never reuse the old wallet as a receiving or change address
no, there is a possibility of revealing the connection between the old and new wallet
if you are still using/receiving coin in the old wallet, you could accidentally join them in the next transaction
but if you understand how to use coin control, this can be easily avoided

OK, one more question.  Would it be OK to send the post-mixed BTC directly to a merchant from the mixing service?  Say you wanted to pay for a VPN or Email annual service via BTC.  They would provide you their wallet address for payment.  Is this not a good idea?  Or is it a great idea because you aren't personally touching the mixed BTC?
Nothing wrong about it, just make sure you calculate the correct amount.

I don't know for sure about it, but personally, I prefer to keep the mixed coin on my wallet first. It doesn't matter If you personally 'touched' it, the mixed coins should be still untraceable. AFAIK, The Electrum wallet only shows your IP address and public address, make sure you connect it via TOR.

Question (#1) Did I state the steps correctly above?

Question (#2) What is the purpose of adding a transfer delay?

Question (#3) When I go to https://bestmixer.io in my Tor Browser I am redirected to https://bestmixer7o57mba.onion    IS THIS NORMAL?

Question (#4) Is it OK that both the old wallet #1 and new wallet #2 are created in the same Desktop Wallet?  In my case I'm am using Electrum.

1. Yes, you did.

2. according to Bestmixer FAQ That is the official tor address for Bestmixer in case you visit or redirected to other than that, it is a scam.

4. I believe there is nothing wrong about it since you separate the wallet.

I have a some mixing question.  If you want to mix coins do you send them as follows:

Step #1)  Enter your address for your Wallet #2 in the best mixer.io site
Step #2)  The mixer site will provide you a to address to send in your BTC.  You would send your BTC from your Wallet #1.
Step #3)  After some time, the mixer service will deliver the new BTC to your Wallet #2 but now it should completely untraceable

Wallet #1 = old wallet "traceable BTC"
Wallet #2 - new wallet "untraceable BTC"

Question (#1) Did I state the steps correctly above?

Question (#2) What is the purpose of adding a transfer delay?

Question (#3) When I go to https://bestmixer.io in my Tor Browser I am redirected to http://bestmixer7o57mba.onion    IS THIS NORMAL?

Question (#4) Is it OK that both the old wallet #1 and new wallet #2 are created in the same Desktop Wallet?  In my case I'm am using Electrum.

SORRY I AM A TOTAL NOOBIE.   Grin

Dear TheNewAnon135246,

if the criminal purposes are priority and necessary personally for you, then you should bear full responsibility for such activity since according to our Terms it is forbidden to use our service for it.

Best regards,
BestMixer Team[/size]

Let me rephrase my question: Why do you need Terms when you are claiming to offer fully anonimity and freedom, answer to no one/government policies and serve customers from anywhere in the world?

Your terms are extremely careful by adding stuff like:
- Escort agencies / massage parlors / sexual services (legal in most countries)
- Timeshare and timeshare maintenance (legal in most countries)
- Independent financial advisers (can't imagine this being illegal)
- Adult entertainment (legal in pretty much all countries)

Why do you need to cover yourself against so many things while you aren't answering to any government policies?

What if the hacked coins from Binance, i.e. o/p of https://btc.com/e8b406091959700dbffcff30a60b190133721e5c39e89bb5fe23c5a554ab05ea, directly or indirectly hit you. Will you still mix them?

Dear 100bitcoin,

our system is unable to determine the origin of the coins sent to the pool.
No project in the world can determine the origin of the coins in 100% of cases. It's technically impossible.
For this reason, coins with a criminal past could get into any system or personal wallet.

As for our Terms of Use, they prohibit use of the service directly or indirectly in any illegal schemes.
The user is fully responsible in this case.

Could you explain why you are claiming to offer fully anonimity and freedom, answer to no one/government policies and serve customers from anywhere in the world while your terms of service basically forbids every reason why someone would want to use a mixer?

LoyceV, thank you for creating the thread Red trust on Bestmixer: is this justified?.

NowYouAreSee, we appreciate a lot that you're looking for answers between the lines.

Thank you,
BestMixer Team

Could you care to answer the unanswered questions in that topic? Thanks!

Since my post got ignored/wasn't read I will post this here. Here is my post from the topic regarding the red trust:

While you are replying here, I checked out your website and I found some contradictions on it:

Quote
We want to be free on the Internet. All of our rights and obligations are based on the principles of crypto-democracy which we have to form together with you.

Quote
Owing to blockchain technology which ensures trust between us and the client without the need for any third party intervention or mediating government agency, we ultimately have no need of registering in the pursuit of keeping anonymity and freedom alive on the internet.

Quote
And, most importantly, since our service is completely anonymous and we are answerable to no one but the client whom we serve, we will do whatever is necessary to keep the confidentiality of every transaction regardless of where in the world they originate from or what the government policies in those countries may be.

Your terms of service says otherwise:

Could you explain why you are claiming to offer fully anonimity and freedom, answer to no one/government policies and serve customers from anywhere in the world while your terms of service basically forbids every reason why someone would want to use a mixer?

Your reply:

TheNewAnon135246, our opposing views can be considered biased against each other with equal probability.

Perhaps your second question will find its answer later when members Lauda and LeGaulois react to the main question of this thread regarding the red trust.

Both of those users have deleted their negative trust so I was wondering if you are willing to answer my question now.
