The owner of rig #5892 KNC TITAN 350 MHS - MONTREAL - READ DESCRIPTION that you are renting has sent you a message!

Your pool keeps misbehaving so it failsover to my pool. Just like above.

If you don't want to waste your money I suggest you find a pool that works. Obviously even though they write it works for KNC miner it is BS. Try litecoin on that pool using US server with a High diff setting.

Dear Rig owner - you should be careful who write write about and what you call BS.

This was sent to me by a guy who rented your rig and ultimately gave up because he could not get it connect.

It was quite unfair and wrong of you to label the statement I have on my Coin Pool as BS because nothing could be further from the truth. In fact I have invested over 80 hours of time setting up stratums and modifying NOMP code on the stratum to work properly with both the KNC and MAT Machines (I own two MAT Machines which run constantly ON MY POOLS at over 280 MH/s)  and four 5 hours yesterday the BCF Pool hosted a miner from Germany with over 3 GH/s in KNC Rigs.

Nothing incenses me more that having someone label my hard work as BS and that's what you have done.

I take pride in the quality of my stratums and pools and it was very unfair of your more importantly totally incorrect to label my statement as BS when it fact it's totally untrue.

All of my pools have a contact form screen which goes direct to my cell phone and I monitor in my pools 24 x 7 and all it would have taken in a few clicks of your mouse to contact me and I could have determined is there was a problem (which I highly doubt since nearly ALL Mat machines owners use my pool as do several Titan owners) since my stratums are setup to handle these machines.

You owe me an apology.

Has there been a change in what data is sent and received by Betarigs? I run one remote rig on 3G dongle and 500MB of data was easily enough for 30 days. 500MB topup from last night (6PM) only lasted until 10AM this morning - what's 500MB of data gone in just over 12 hours?!?

packet data should never have sent that much in that short space of time mate, you should check what else you have running on that machine.
sounds like shenanigans.

Nah, there is deffo a massive difference in when rig in rented on Betarigs and mining X13 coins on multipool in terms of data sent/received.

Last 24h consumed ~20MB of data as opposed to 500 odd!

well if that is truly the case, as it seems to be, i'm putting my rental prices up.

Just seen there is a thread on betarigs and felt compelled to write a quick review. I've been using betarigs for about 6 months now and I must say the customer support is excellent. If I've ever had a problem with a rental or an issue with an incorrect deposit, they've always been quick to help and make a fair decision. Seems to be that they treat both the rig owners and the persons renting equal, there are no sides. Response times are good and the staff are always polite. Just giving my 2 cents, and thanks again

Any other Rig Owners having problems with rentals not starting?

I have a rental waiting to start for half an hour and the BetaRigs server shows dead/idle from my rig. It usually only takes a few minutes to switch on. I haven't changed pool settings or configs for months and have had hundreds of rentals with few issues, so something seems to be wrong on BetaRig's side (at least for my account). Restarting the rig doesn't help.

I rented a Nist5 rig @440mh for 7 days it has been running for 12 hours and I cant get ahold of the rig operator. I made a support ticket and no response.  Tried the rig on multiple pools.  Not one share has been accepted for 12hours.  Either the rig operator is a newb and doesn't know what he is doing or he is a scammer and is running a rig that is trying to submit fake shares. Either way, refund please.

I was refunded within 24hrs., not as quick as I would like but thanks.

Are you guys having issues with displaying the hashrate graphs on your website? They look incredibly choppy and inconsistent.

had been hashing for 8.5 hours on Slush's pool
Help me understand. Why would you pay X bitcoins to mine (X - fees - markup) bitcoins?

If someone can make 1 bitcoin with their rig alone, he will only sell it to you if he makes 1.01 bitcoins or more by renting it. You then have the Betarigs fee, slush's fee, variance, time spent monitoring both sites, etc.

I must not understand it correctly, because it seems you are paying a bunch of people 1$ to collect for you 95c in change. Where is the profit?

Are you not familiar with slush's pool? I have rented on betarigs before and made a profit pointing to slush's pool. There are days where slush's pool has 250% luck, you just need to have good timing.
Ah, a gamble, I see...

Pool luck (1 day, 7 days, 30 days):   89%, 85%, 127%

Sure looks the same when I was mining two years ago...
