Guys, I have a question.
2 years ago I purchased 100000 bitbeans.
I sent them to my wallet.

Now I opened the newest wallet and says I have 100 sprouts.
Bitbean block explorer shows I have 100000 bitbeans.

What is going on? It seems I missed too much through the years.  Cheesy

I get the feeling that a lot of new traders missed out on early bitbean because they didn't realize that our marketcap is so low.  Verge is at 71mil and redd is at 92 mil marketcap.  Our current marketcap is only 18mil.  So to the new person it looks like we're the same price as Verge and Redd, but considering marketcap, we could double twice and still be a bargain.

thanks for the info !

You're welcome mate and I wish you the best of luck sprouting some BitBeans.

It's a great time to sprout as I noticed the network weight is down a little as a lot of people will have their Beans on exchanges trading as the price has once again gone up above 100 sats. The last time this happened I was able to sprout a good number of Beans.

Hi,

I am new to the community Smiley

I bought some Bitbeans coins a few weeks ago and I have decided to hold them for a long term.

Could you please explain how much % of the stake is? I have read in an older post that with 1million coins you can get 1000 coins every two days?
Do I need to have 1million coins minimum to stake them?

Thanks for your help!

Welcome to the BitBean community!

Now to answer your question, no you do not have to have 1 million BitBeans minimum to stake you could start with any amount however it will just take a long time to earn some Beans from sprouting that is why I at least recommend a few hundred thousand to start with as you should receive some beans every couple/few days. 1 million will most likely get you 1k Beans every day or every 2nd day but remember it all depends on the network weight as well so the more you have the better chance you got at earning some Beans. I hope this helps answer your question.

@Gatorelf

You will need to download the BitBean wallet to sprout BitBeans as Bittrex is just an exchange and you won't earn any BitBeans on there so I suggest you download the BitBean wallet and start sprouting your Beans on there. Like I posted above I recommend at least a few hundred thousand Beans to sprout.

Can you tell me if there is any interest on the wallet?

If you mean do we earn interest on our BitBeans? then the answer is yes we do however you will need a few hundred thousand BitBeans before you start earning rewards. You could start with a small amount however it might take days before you earn any rewards so that is why I recommend at least 100k BitBeans to get started and if you can maybe even 500k as that should get you a few sprouts per week so around 3k BitBeans in interest a week if you leave the wallet unlocked and open for a long period of time.
When you buy BITB, send the BITB directly to your wallet Don't you need to do anything else? It doesn't seem like POS interest. What would you like to set up?

bitbean same as other pos coin, you dont need anything else. The difference is bitbean sprouting 1000 new bean if your coin mature

That's right, no need for anything else. BitBean in my opinion is better then all other POS coins as the staking/sprouting (BitBean terms) is a lot different and is like Bitcoin where as it's like mining a block and earning the full reward unlike other POS coins where you earn a certain percent on the amount of coins you stake. Say for example 10% per year on your coins while BitBean doesn't have this so you can earn a lot more coins.

someone said here that we need at least 1 million coins to get 1,000 coins after 3 days. the price is too high right now so according to this i need to invest 0.7 BTC to get reward? i only staked bitbean at poswallet so i dont really know how much i will stake at my own computer and i cant afford invest too much right now. but i do want to enter again.

i currently have 3 pos wallets at my computer opened whenever i`m online, and looking for more coins to stake!

1 million BitBeans would at least get you a couple of sprouts each day if you leave your computer on 24/7 With 500k I think you would sprout either every day 1k Beans or every second day. The price is holding steady so I think that if you buy some Beans each week you should make some profit in the long term as like I said the price has been steady for a few weeks now at around 50+ sats. Like I have said in previous posts I think this could be the new floor for BitBean.
