Was anyone able to get the confirmation emails from the new chat channel https://slackkiller.bitbean.org? I've registered multiple aliases and none of them have received the verification email. Even when I manually press resend, it's still not coming through.

I'm not seeing the verification email.

Set up a wallet on an Ubuntu box and its synching really slow. Will probably take at least 24 hours at this rate.
Shows 15 connections but its only downloading about a block a second.

BitBean's price is crazy at the moment! It was only a matter of time before BitBeans starts to see this sort of action. I'm also glad I got in early when BitBean was around 5 sats and even then I was still buying when the price was at 15, 20 and 25 sats because I knew that the price would go a lot higher and now today we are sitting at 78 sats.

Look at these 7500 and 800 sells.
Seems like a pump?

Hope not.

You can try it small. spend some amount you're ready to throw and see the community's support. It will grow by it's own. You can buy more as you get more convinced to this asset.

Can someone explain the recent price jump? This project has caught my attention due to the recent 50% up on Bittrex.
I don't mind investing for the long term, what's the main objective for this project? Hope it's not a "someone is willing to pay higher price for my coin that is a piece of rock." Community coin?

Thanks

So bet on black and let it ride? Market bull run makes people do crazy things. Oh well, I'm already up 50% so guess we'll see...

"Bean Cash..More Than Digital Cash!"
New Chat & Collaboration Platform Launched for Team Bean

All Team Bean members (those owning BitBean) are invited to join our community on our new chat & collaboration platform:

https://slackkiller.bitbean.org

or alternatively:

https://livechat.bitbean.org

No Invitation is needed, you can self-register with your email address.

  • Our new platform is hosted on our own secure server, that encrypts all data at the file-system level.
  • The new platform is responsive, as  you can use any browser to access (even on mobile).
  • This new platform provides better integration with our DevOps. We will still maintain our existing Hipchat server for Bean Core members and Live Video Conference events.

http://teamchat.bitbean.org will remain, but will become deprecate.

Seems like a good project. Reminds me of BURST a year ago- lots of good ideas and could easily go up in price.
Definitely keeping an eye on this project.

I noticed that Yobit is listed as "depricated" on the bitbean website.
Have there been issues with transferring coins to or from Yobit wallets?

Great to see BitBean up over 30 sats, but too bad for me at buying under 20 sats when I wanted too thanks to my BTC deposit still yet to confirm. This is why more people are investing into Altcoin as they are getting sick and tired of waiting on BTC transactions to confirm even when people pay a higher fee. BitBean transactions are super quick at under 1 minute and only cost less then 1 sats, this might be one of the reasons why BitBean has been doing so well in recent months.

i've been staking / sprouting in this pool for almost 2 months now.
They also have :
- staking pool for other bigger Alt-coin like CLAM, Hobo-Nickel.
- P2P loan (BTCJam, Bitbond)
- Equity Share exchange
- Alt-coin exchange
- BTC Bond funding & exchange

So far so good, i have nothing to complain. They have so much in stake here, including their reputation. So I'm sure they value their reputation higher than just your BiTB you trusted in their pool. Here is a screenshot from my staking account:

For those who doesn't have enought Bitbean to sprout enough new beans every day, you can join this Bitbean sprouting pool:

https://btcpop.co/Home/14023/bitcointalk

- Signup an account
- login
- create a new bitbean wallet / address
- Deposit your Bitbean
- See your Bitbean sprouts quicker,

The result will be calculated proportionally like mining pools. They also have exchange to buy more Bitbean or sell your Bitbean.

Good luck

This is a great idea but can this be trusted? I don't need to join this pool to stake my Beans but I know there are some people out there with only a few thousand Beans and would like to stake and earn Beans but it's hard to trust some sites. I know a lot of people use POSWallet like I did but now I stake my Beans on my brothers computer as it's much safer.

No problem thanks for letting us all know. Well I prefer to sprout my Beans in my own local wallet but like I said it is a great way to sprout Beans for people who don't have the space on their laptops or computers to be able to sprout Beans. I know a lot of people also use POSWallet to sprout their Beans as well like I used to but I never really earned that many for the amount of Beans I had on their.

Great to see the price going back up over 20 sats, too bad I'm still waiting on my stupid BTC transaction to confirm on Bittrex. It's been 3 days now and not even 1 confirmation. Bitcoin is becoming a joke now even paying higher fees still doesn't make the process quicker.
