A Bitcoin Cash supporter has promised to purchase 111 Tesla Model 3s if the Tesla manufacturer adds the coin as a means of payment. On YouTube, a user under a pseudonym 1stmil.com from Australia predicted an increase in sales of Tesla if BCH can be used as a payment, in his opinion, the BCH community wants to spend the coin, and not hold it, unlike the owners of BTC. Tether inflation is everywhere. That is not Bitcoin

Same old narrative.

Hey?!  If it's all about tether inflation why is it only working for Bitcoin and not BCASH too?  I mean you can buy both of those with tether after all...

True if not done by central planning imo

Why is nearly all getting the intransparent path - away from what Bitcoin was originally created to be + gave it its success story at all?

Some central agendas ...

Edit: They might have 25$ in the bank, all the rest in ... tether ?

https://decrypt.co/63577/tether-attestation-takeaways

*sigh* I do not know why I am engaging you.  I have read enough to know you are a true believer with swirls in your eyes.

And I do not even think Tether is completely on the up and up necessarily.  There could certainly be something scammy about it.  But the whole idea that it is a conspiracy executed by risking double digit billions of dollars to prop up a worldwide ponzi scheme (Bitcoin) that even publicly traded companies have now committed billions of dollars to is just beyond the pale.  There are so many other schemes, scams, and ways to manipulate the market that have less risk etc.

I don't give a crap about tether.  Other than it is actually one of the only products in crypto with any real utility aside from Bitcoin, fleeting as that utility may be.  In the end Tether might help BTC be more easily liquid to trade, but by doing so it supports it's own eventual demise.  No one in their right mind holds value for very long in Tether.  Why on earth would they?  A synthetic version of a rapidly depreciating asset backed by bank accounts in the Caymans?  I have ONE tether in my Green wallet just as a collectors item.  Sort of like how I own 1 ETH as well.  You don't need harebrained conspiracy theories about tether to criticize it.

It's garbage.

But it has very little, or maybe NOTHING to do with the success of Bitcoin.  That is the narrative of losers who want to believe the horse they bet on should really be winning the race, after all it is the REAL THING, blah blah blah.

You, like so many in alt-land are a believer of fanciful narratives.  But the fact you have swallowed the ones put forth by arguably one of the biggest scammers in the whole of crypto... well shit.  I actually truly pity you.  Not a figure of speech.  The only reasy I am typing all this is not to mock you but to somehow try to slap you awake. Craig Wright is a liar. "Clean code and scale" doesn;t even really mean anything.  You are WATCHING scaling happen right now with BTC, LN, Liquid, CashApp, Fidelity, Baakt, Grayscale, all the exchanges, Paypal, Tesla, Microstrategy, on and on and on.  Acting like this is the banks taking over because big money is attracted to Bitcoin is stupid.  OF COURSE they, and banks, and so many other powerful people are attracted to Bitcoin.  Of COURSE they want to control it.  But they CANNOT.  And in FACT it is BECAUSE of the tradeoffs that CSW eliminated that keep it from centralizing.  I promise you Bitcoin will harm any powerful person that tries to control it the same way as it hamed the bank accounts of every rube that sank their money into BCASH or BCASHSV.

You can fixate on a failed and rejected fork trying to outdo ETH at it's own game (and losing there too) that if it was even successful would centralize into a data panopticon controlled by a few rich interests that would make the central banks of today look like clowns when it comes to controlling the masses and ushering in the most dystopic period of human history.  Crap, CSW is actually TRYING to fulfil the biblical prophesies of the antichrist and I believe even subtly signals it with his stupid red socks.

But he's not a good enough liar to be Satan either.  He is bad at everything.  Even lying.  There are just enough stupid people out there to buy in to his garbage while he tries to get some legal justification to get access to Bitcoin (and stupid fork coins) he has never held the keys for.

You are a pawn in his retarded game.

Wake up.

(Oh, and to stay more OT, I do not think Roger is quite as bad, and might even have been well intentioned, but he too was deceived by the same ass clown and is too proud to let go and admit it.  If he too is not a liar, then eventually he will realize that being fixated on Bitcoin as a replacement of Venmo is NOT THE $#%&^* POINT)

LONDON (Reuters) - PayPal Holdings Inc will announce later on Tuesday that it has started allowing U.S. consumers to use their cryptocurrency holdings to pay at millions of its online merchants globally, a move that could significantly boost use of digital assets in everyday commerce.

Customers who hold bitcoin, ether, bitcoin cash and litecoin in PayPal digital wallets will now be able to convert their holdings into fiat currencies at checkouts to make purchases, the company said.

The service, which PayPal revealed it was working on late last year, will be available at all of its 29 million merchants in the coming months, the company said.

"This is the first time you can seamlessly use cryptocurrencies in the same way as a credit card or a debit card inside your PayPal wallet," President and CEO Dan Schulman told Reuters ahead of a formal announcement.

Your last prediction!  The resuming pump!!!!  Here it is!! From that day to today!!!

When will you be ready to admit that the market has chosen the real Bitcoin, BTC?

I do own both because the market doesn't always behave rationally and the big money still seems to be on bitcoin.

The market doesn't always behave rationally but its favored bitcoin over bcash since bcash was born, the entirety of its existence.

Another thing you forget is that nobody trusts a coin captained by a con artist (Ver).

Ver had plenty of opportunities to stop mooching off the good name of bitcoin, but he never did. He's a shameless opportunist, and everyone who ever exchanged bitcoin for bcash at his suggestion has suffered financially as a result.

I agree that tx fees are out of hand for BTC at the moment. Solutions are on the way. Solutions more elegant than simply increasing the length of tape inside your audio cassette.

It seriously puzzles me how BTC supporters won't say anything positive about BCH, bitcoin cash is what bitcoin used to be. Low fees for peer 2 peer payments. I guess people will just shill whatever they hold and everything else is a scam though, lol.

NO.

You can refer to the discussions that went on for YEARS.  Keeping the blocksize small and scaling via layers is the tradeoff that Bitcoiners have made and the market seems to still agree.  Hashrate is continuing to drop for BCH while it continues to explode for BTC and the ratio is approaching 1:100 BCH:BTC.

Framing the issue the way you did is quite incomplete.

What you have are two competing paths:

Prioritize low fees to build a payment network first.
Prioritize value storage and develop payments network afterwards.

You are betting on the first.  Or are you just talking your bags?

I know the arguments and have been in crypto for a long time. Many people on r/BTC believe bitcoin was infiltrated by banks so it would be crippled as a payment network. Its not a mystery why so many bitcoin supporters from the early days jumped on bitcoin cash, such as Roger Ver.

Prioritizing value storage for the poor man makes no sense when he has to pay $20 for a transaction.

I do own both because the market doesn't always behave rationally and the big money still seems to be on bitcoin.

Yes, BCH is finally going up and it s value will be recognized. With lower fees it is really valuable. It has proven to be worth holding it.

Don't count on it

It looks like big players are starting to come around to BCH. Look at how much BCH greyscale has bought recently and Kim Dotcom is heavily supporting bitcoin cash.

BCH has done terrible vs BTC since it launched, that is no secret. I really don't see why so many people have such a strong hatred against Bitcoin Cash. It does suck to pay $20 for a bitcoin transaction when they used to cost a penny.
