Are these hash rates for real? BCC almost as much nethash as BTC and still no blocks???

https://pool.viabtc.com/

Network hash is not accurate,  look at the pool hash...a lot of miners left.

Oh I see, I thought the network hash was accurate and it really surprise me with 5000+HH while btc with 6000+PH. I saw current pool hash is 70PH, seems like a lot of people left...

Why the price is going down is the exchanges open now for external trading

No just users realising its value is worth nothing and cancelling buy orders probably

It seems no people will cry who dumped their coins at very low price. I believe this coin will grow more healthy and will take 2nd position in market and after this another fork will happen. This is game of profit where all people making free money.

What I don't understand is that this new coin now has a market capitalization of 8 Billion right now and it came out of thin air no BTC was lost to get this valuation
how does it really work any article on on the mathematics / economics or is it really free money for who ... who gets money they ones that already hold some btc ?
so how did those 16,482,113 BCH came in to existence with the first mining of the first block ?
who owns this BCH as I understand they existed in BTC but what about BCH ?

the bch is actually the absolute same in numbers like bitcoin right after the split.
so every holder of btc is now also a holder of bch this is who it belongs to.

Some people sell their free coin then come here to FUD just so others could dump to help them buy back cheaper...crazy world we live in Huh

Even Charlie Shrem could be buying more BCH right now but go about twitting all negative news about BCH, I wonder what happened to freedom of choice?

Or maybe in this case it is WYSIWYG without another agenda and people are just dumping to get their free money out while they still can.

For me the sad thing is that for every winner there is a loser. The poor people that buy the coins from the people cashing in their free money. Those are the people I feel sorry for, but people should know what they are getting into when they buy.

Yes, I don't think it's a good idea to buy what you don't know or to sell just because some unsatisfied individuals say it's shit. What I'm concerned about is why the drama still dragging on? BCH has come let's live with it and if it fails then fine.

The pool started at over 210 PH yesterday and is now down to 70.

and, Market Cap has dropped from 12+ Billion to 8+ Billion as of 8/2 1220 EST.

I just lost my unique BCH. I used Electrum, after the fork i sended my BTC to Bittrex, i download the Electrom Cash, used my private keys and saw my BCH, everything is ok, until after a little time Electrom Cash send my BCH to the same BTC Bittrex address.

So is a lost right?

Sad

Shocked did Electron Cash send your coins without interaction with you  Huh

Anyway you should contact Bittrex support, maybe they'll be able to help.

you most likely are connected to the wrong chain..check the server connection and switch to the right fork..

https://news.bitcoin.com/the-trading-center-in-hk-where-they-mined-most-of-the-bitcoin-cash-blocks/

Quote
According to the owner of ‘MC pool’ in Hong Kong, he and his “big miner friends” started mining BCH “for fun.” Additionally, the miner started mining BCH to promote his new trading center called “Genesis Block.” The trading center will focus on day trading, Over-the-Counter (OTC) sales, retail, night-time lectures, sharing and local cryptocurrency meet-ups.

Quote
The Hong Kong miner then goes on to explain that he and “most of his friends” have already switched back to the BTC main chain. They started mining yesterday, Hong Kong time, and the miner says the operation hasn’t been profitable due to the difficulty. “Return still cannot catch up to difficulty,” explains the miner. Since switching back to the main chain, the Hong Kong miner doesn’t think they will mine it again. He doesn’t believe his “friends” will jump back into mining BCH either.

My understanding is that Bitcoin can only do a difficulty adjustment every 2016 blocks (https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty).  Unless BCC/BCH changed the difficulty algorithm then it may never get to that block count in order to make an adjustment.

I wonder if any coins use a shrinking difficulty based on time since last block generated?  In a situation like that, the difficulty could fall between blocks so that even one miner could keep the chain alive or restart it if it was dormant.
