as of now forum date is October 24, 2017, 07:46:41 AMthen I checked blockchain.info and block 491459 already mined
so is it officially forked now or they mistyped the block number
you must be new to hard fork, basically there is already 16M in circulation, because it was hard forked from bitcoin, and these coins will be given to who claim them with their private key for the 1:1 exchange

I will be holding these forked coins for some time until the whole situation gets clear fully. This is free money reward for holding Bitcoins. I will be watching development that how this BTG moves ahead. Last fork is failed and collapsed already let's see how differently this one works on the exchanges in medium term.

As I can see devs not very communicative here. So as I understand snapshot was done already. And when POW phase will begin?

But since the real tokens are out, Yobit should by now changed it to real tokens, the spread between Yobit and other exchanges is because Yobit is trying to pump and dump on people, just be wise here
I can see there is alot of attack on bitcoin gold , don't know why if you don't support this coin just don't buy , the same attack was a year ago on zec and the same ppl bought and mined zcash , if you don't support a project don't buy or mine , i think if btg will dump to $100 or $1 or even dies the concept of decentralized mining will not , and asics should be thrown away.
the bitcoin gold price ~ 0.75 = $400 still high , i think price btg just ~ $250- $280 is ok

Price has already crashed on Yobit. The only problem I see is getting BTC out of Yobit during the freeze.
