I know it says not to use an exchange address for receiving the tokens, but can we SEND from an exchange address to fund our account? (Im looking to send LTC from Poloniex)
Concerning contribution via exchanges. Remember that you may use any sources for funding BTC and LTC.
For ETH you may use only registered ETH address to fund from. And this address must be a personal, not exchange or Freewallet.

They can't control that. It happens in every Slack channel for every crypto. Just don't click on the links and you're all good.
Yes unfortunately every crypto Slack is overflowing with it. Slack won't do anything about it. Best practices in Slack now are to never send to any linked address, never click on any link. Just use it as a chat room, never anything else, and you're ok.

I think it is possible to send LTC from the address of the exchange. Address eth you will get the BMC should not address exchange
