I know. But It cant just keep skyrocketing and I don't want it too either. My bet is we will see 3500/4000 again for a short while and over 6000/7000 on the next big push.

Hi All! I know everyone is excited by the growth of BlackCoin. Many of us have supported the coin from day one and have predicted it will be successful. I know everyone has predicted numerous targets, but I do believe based on other coins with similar volume and community support, it will settle around $5-$8 USD. However, how quick this happens depends on a few things that is suppressing BlackCoin's growth. A successful coin must be bought and sold to keep momentum going, but we do not have to try and undercut each other to make a profit.

1.) If you are going to sell your coins do not try and undercut your fellow sellers. If you see a sell order for 0.00005337, you do not have to set your sell order to 0.00005336. A few sat do not matter either way. However, undercutting your fellow sellers usually starts a race to the bottom because the next seller sets his/her sell order to 0.00005335 and next thing you know we are down 200 sat because of greed and lack of patience. If you set your sell order higher than the current sell order it WILL be bought, just have a little patience.

2.) Please stop trying to unload a bunch of BlackCoins in one sell order. When buyers see a large sell order of 2 BTC and above they think a dump is coming and are hesitant to buy. Break your orders up into smaller chunks. It is better for you and the community in a whole.

3.) Don't stop buying BlackCoin. Even if you only buy 10- 100 coins every now and then, it keeps the momentum and volume up. If people think a coin is stagnant they will just start dumping the coin. Although I hold a considerable amount of BlackCoins, I still buy a few every day to keep the momentum going.

I have to say - I was a bit of a Mazacoin sucker, and several weeks ago we actually got close to choosing that coin as an alternate, primarily because of its connection to the Lakota and their gambling license. I should say alleged connection. Luckily we didn't pull the trigger on that, lol.

That said I think it comes down to this: All virtual currency as prototyped by Satoshi is still really in its infancy. People are still figuring out what to do with it. The alts seem to break into two camps - the camp that tries to target a certain audience or a certain need, and the camp that tries to improve on the basic economic model. For a gambling site, there is some attraction to a coin like Maza if it were really officially backed by a gambling jurisdiction. If or when something like that comes along, we would jump on board. But for the most part, the second camp (that tweaks the economic model for specific, better results) is going to win this battle. And BlackCoin just stands out as a far more fundamentally viable currency system than anything else out there.

There's also, I think, some gray area out there in between hardcore hard-currency believers, and on the other hand people who want to believe in an endless money supply. BlackCoin may or may not strike the right balance in the long run, but it seems quite close, and I think that's why it's generating so much interest.

Obviously, to run a casino in the currency means to take a long-term long position on it. I'm excited for the mining pools to come up, but equally so for more merchants to get involved. Other casinos stand back, though! StrikeSapphire is going to be THE BlackCoin casino!

Well it sure seems BC has left the station en route to destinations unknown. Refreshing to see organic growth in an altcoin for a change.

Breaking though that 5000 satoshi barrier is going to prove significant. Last time we stumbled at that point and then a panic dump occurred. Confidence regrew and the price has gradually rebuilt itself over the last week back up to 5000 and this time we smashed through it   This is an extremely bullish indicator (recovering from a dump and then going onto new highs in price). We may now see a massive pump here as people get excited. I would prefer though to see more of this gradual smooth rise in price we have seen. Either way, long term I see only moons and rockets for this coin... especially with no mined coins getting dumped on the market every day.

Aphrodite coin... wtf? Another country shitcoin with 75% premine and people are still falling for this as it's 5th on coinmarketcap? A nice "month away airdrop" date so that hype can be built and 75% premine shoved up to sheeps throats. Bah this BS makes me sick.

I liquidated half an aurora and most my aphs now and invested them in Blackcoin I got now over 5k again is that good?

i think there is no limit for this coin - at the current price growth nothing will surprise me - so glad i didnt sell at 4000 - i was so close to clicking the sell button.... my faith in this coin now knows no bounds.... 

10k within 3 weeks, we should aim for 50k at least
