No it wouldnt. It would answer maybe 2 or 3 of the questions I listed and only partially. The parameters of the POS coins are set by the developer and we still have every 'Joe' and 'Jane' guessing what they are.

Understanding PoS would answer at least half of the related questions...

i entered freebtc.eu:8336 as address.. my wallet as user, then misc password
