Do I use the same way of accessing the commands as the Bitcoin wallet?
e.g. PHP?

Yes, the same way should work. The only different is default port for blackcoin is 15715 while bitcoin is 8332

Got it!

Many thanks  Grin Grin Grin

Can someone give me the list of JSON commands for this coin and a how-to guide for the JSON?

Many thanks  Grin

The RPC commands are bitcoin compatible, however, there are some extra commands eg: getstakinginfo, checkkernel, getstakesubsidy, getsubsidy

Issue the "help" command for more details.

Many thanks brother  Grin Grin Grin

I just saw that BTC-e removed FTC, XPM and TRC.

Does someone know if there is a voting for new coins that may be added in the future?

Did these people contact BTC-e at all or was it just an accumulation of reasons to be added?

with kind regards,
randywald

It would be just about time to add BLK on BTC-e. However, my opinion on that exchange is that it seems like it's been hibernated long time ago. I haven't noticed any visible improvements, the design is always prehistorical. I don't understand how they can make so huge volumes. It's true that exchange hasn't been hacked yet, so maybe its truly secure which would be a very rare feature in crypto where every second exchange gets hacked. Smiley

Don't dream about listing on btce, I emailed to btce many times since 2013, they said they would't list new coins. that's why it doesn't list doge, btsx, DRK, why list BLK? And Huobi and OKcoin won't list BLK, don't dream it.

They won't list and reject to list, because Chinese people don't like reject people, that's why Joshua thought they may list BC  Cheesy

Btw, listing on btc38 and bter is already a success.

Regular users (99% of computer users) have no idea what the term "compile" means

I know what compiling means, but the problem would be compiling on Windows. I have a Linux machine, but it is very old (9 years, and sometimes resets out of nothing) so compiling something on it would take ages.

That's why I mentioned that the link for binary is also available on http://blackcoin.co/

I was talking about those links. It seems it was just a moment of bad luck, because it's working now.

Thanks.

Links for wallet binaries aren't working.  Undecided

1. it is easier and more secure to compile from github than running the binary.

2. the link to binary on blackcoin.co works fine for me.

Not everyone has the skills to compile a binary so it's impossible for them to use any wallet without a binary.

but the link to the binary is working.. (at least at my end)

edit: also the instruction on compiling/installing is here: http://www.reddit.com/r/blackcoin/wiki/installation-and-building
