Google NDA (Non-disclosure agreement)

You guys say your serious and professionals but you still ask why they didnt mention the name of the PR agency.

Pathetic really pathetic

Google NDA (Non-disclosure agreement)

Ok I am going to bite because you make it too easy. I have never heard of a PR firm requiring a client not to disclose publicly that the client may or may not sign with said PR firm. This is counterintuitive to the business model of a PR firm. PR firms love it when potential clients announce they are considering their firm because it gives them free PR. I can understand an NDA to restrict discussing the particulars of the contract, but an NDA to not disclose the name of the PR firm you are considering is the first me.

Unilateral NDA
A unilateral, or a one-way, agreement is where one party wants to disclose certain information to another party but needs the information to remain secret for some reason, perhaps due to secrecy requirements required to satisfy patent laws[1] or to make sure that the other party does not take and use the disclosed information without compensating the discloser.

Bilateral NDA
A bilateral, or mutual, agreement is where both parties will be supplying information that is intended to remain secret. This type of agreement is common when businesses are considering some kind of joint venture or merger.

Some practitioners insist on a mutual NDA in all cases, to encourage the drafter to make the provisions "fair and balanced" in case the drafter's receiving-party client later ends up as a disclosing party, or vice versa (not an uncommon occurrence).

Good luck on your ventures.

I actually trade the coins every night or every two nights. I am not making any profit off the donations. However, one member specifically asked me not to trade his donation in until a few days before the event. I respected his wishes

Let me get this straight, people donate money to you for a campaign and you GAMBLE it?

I dont think thats appropriate behaviour under ANY circumstance.

Thats borderline Fraud and your credibility totally out of the window.

This time you threw yourself under the bus.

I understand there might be a language barrier so I will try again. I trade the coins every night or two into fiat. I trade the coins it into dollars since I can't pay for the services in BlackCoin. I have no clue if the price is going to go up or down, so I have to convert the coins every few days.

That's why we shouldn't donate in BC

Just kidding Grin

A lot of people donate in BTC but the problem still remains the same. I have to convert whatever currency into dollars. I do not sell the BC all at once because I do not want create sell pressure. I sell a little at a time.

Alrighty, so with the blackcoin address > http://explorer.blackcoin.co/address/BQQsUdYaqCGUDhdXPADto1gKwvEA2a92TP

We have over 58k blackcoin sent to the cause~ great!

Now checking the bitcoin address > http://blockexplorer.com/address/12jhNVMj5kk7akem2wxDwnpQvGdro3NzJ4

So there is over 22 btc sent for the cause!

So, that is, (give or take a few btc away, since IE sold every once in a while for BC) around 38 btc.. Calculating that in today's price

Using Bitstamp price that's = $16,682 USD

So, that's over $12,000 USD, which means we have a camera crew and the wallstreet stuff a-go ?

I hope this is true, since.. what else would the funds be used as?

Good job guys! Smiley

Awesome job, IconicExpert Smiley

Can't wait for the event to happen~!

Hello BlackCoin Community

As the BlackCoin Foundation we have worked hard in the past weeks and I am proud to present to the community at large one of our most ambitious fundraising ventures to date. As most of you know, BlackCoin is a phenomenal alternative cryptocurrency with substantial REAL advantages over its competitors. We are a greener, faster, coin that is ready for retail adoption and worldwide use… Only the world doesn't know this... That is hopefully about to change…

BlackCoin will be the first CryptoCurrency to hire a legitimate, brick and mortar, Public Relations Firm!

For several weeks the BlackCoin Foundation has been engaging PR firms in order to find one with the right technical expertise to help promote BlackCoin through various target media (think wired.com, theverge, wsj, financial times, and social media as well). After much deliberation we have decided on a company and are in the process of finalizing things contractually speaking. We are not going to release the PR firm's name until things are finalized, but they have a great deal of experience and are truly excited to be working with us. You will not be disappointed.

BlackCoin is Bitcoin 2.0. But spreading this message comes at significant cost. In order to secure a 90 day PR campaign (with options to retain services month to month after the initial 90 day period) the foundation has already raised over $15,000 USD! This has got the ball rolling, but we need help from the community! To finish paying for this venture we need the community to help raise an additional $15,000 USD.

The funds raised by the Foundation have allowed us to get things started, and over the next few days and weeks we will providing more and more information about the strategy, including key messages and timelines. Our strategy meetings will be 100% transparent and we will be updating the community about our every move. In the meantime, we need two things:

1.) Come up with suggestions! We have a powerful PR firm to bounce ideas off of and now is the time to brainstorm. What do you think is an important message? What is an important venue? Give us anything and everything you got, but please do your best to list your ideas in a concise and coherent manner.
2.) Please donate to the addresses below! This is a monumental and revolutionary undertaking that could very well shape the cryptocurrency landscape for years to come. Every little bit helps!

Linked below is a very high-level and preliminary overview that the PR firm provided to us in our most recent conference call. Some information has been redacted and the formatting has been altered (worsened) due to proprietary images (e.g. anything that could identify the PR Firm).

The Plan

The cryptocurrency world is having trouble competing with BlackCoin as is… With a capable and professional PR firm on our side, the sky is the limit.

Thanks and please donate today!

Doge: DNkmhknWWx6ogrHaTy9X2SLft9ouwhCNs1
Make sure to check the addresses in the original post!

Be the change you want to see in the world.

WE NOW HAVE: 3850$ Donated!

I want to thank you all for donating so far and already being over 20% within the first 12 hours is awesome.

Keep donating however, the faster we have the money together, the faster we can provide you guys with the name of the firm. We are currently under an NDA.

Hey

Im currently building an exchange only for Blackcoin / Fiat. No other crap coins. It's not entirely an exchange since there will be no sell/buy orders. Only instant trades, no accounts that hold coins, so no security problems. Payments will be done via Mistercash, iDEAL, Paypal and several other instant payment options. The trade platform will only be made exclusively for Blackcoin. I will also be working on an merchant API next to the exchange.

Basicly its much like Bitonic.nl - but then for Blackcoin only.

I need some help though. First of all. A name. I was thinking about Blacksafe myself, but could be different aswell. If you got some idea's. Throw them at me!

Next, im all open for new ideas. For an example: should it be a member only trade platform, or something different? Maybe something cool would be if the members of the platform get a free Blackcoincard. Not sure.. just some idea's.. anyone else got some idea's? Let me know! I want this exchange to be UNIQUE and EXCLUSIVE.

I recommend bank wires over paypal.

Make the site open to anyone but keep it blackcoin only.

You basically want to make a coinbase type site but for Blackcoin. Anyone can easily and quickly instantly buy Blackcoins for cash. Once it's gets usage then build in merchant tools.

I have been considering building such a service myself as I already have half the code for an exchange done from a previous project of mine. But I am wary of potential legal issues. If you ever want to chat, pm me.

what's counts it's THAT IT IS ACTUALLY DONE....not just posted on a web site..

and notice 10000$ for a wallstreet event including 1000 BalckCoin Cards and flyers that will be distributed....not counting people involved and t-shirts..also when you give someone something tangible they will play with it and research more......
that's cheap a pop....

VS

15000$ for a PR plan....it's just a plan...

Anw forgot to add for those against Iconic..

with this event I'm pretty sure,
his not making any profit at all beside the BC value that he might hold...but that will profit to all of us

It's a no brainer investment for me....

it's not what I meant.....coins donated are going to the project..

what I meant is that we will all, as BC holders profit of increase in BC.....including you as I suspect you hold bunch of them personally...which is a great motivator itself

Also dollar-cost-averaging (or more accurately BC-cost-averaging) the exchange of the BC which is better with something so volatile. Smiley

Hey guys!
I've just noticed Blackcoin has NO wikipedia article!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search?search=blackcoin

This is huge drawback if we want to reach general public.
Especially those who do not know they have to visit deep hidden caves like: bitcointalk and reddit community page to get more info. Yes I know there is that "main webpage" of Blackcoin, but still Dogecoin,Peercoin,Namecoin and Mastercoin have their wiki articles. We shall not fall behind.

Earlier I've found (i think) 2 months old post at www.blackcointalk.com, announcements page about 2000BC being donated to someone for wiki article about BC. With no more info about progress etc. Unfortunatelly www.blackcointalk.com is returning Error 500 to me now, so I can not link it. Does anyone of the devels or PR elaborate more about this?

Thanks!
