How long do you guys think until the next pump? Is it rare for the whales to go back to the same coin twice in one week?

I'd personally like to see a floor established rather than another pump quite so soon. However, I think that the price is due to go up shortly and maybe stay arount the 55k-60k mark by the end of the day.

Just a guess though.

A lot of people holding this are bagholders, confidence has been lost by major investors now, any big pump will be following by a big dump.

All say this on BC, all the talk about how BC is "creating wealth" for the early adopters, how is that different than anything else in life?

The people who bought Microsoft or Apple stock in its infancy and those who bought or mined Bitcoin 3-4 years ago will always be miles above anyone who buys in later, I don't get this argument.

Some people here are very naive and do not understand that without hyping and yes pumping BlackCoin we will still be at 1500 sat with 50BTC or less volume.

Please don't take this personally,
Here's my issue with/question about pumping and this applies to all coins:
What happens when a coin is very quickly hyped/pumped up to a multi-million dollar marketcap, to the point of producing a number of very "wealthy" people, but there is actually not enough fresh capital coming in support these huge bagholders leaving/taking profits? So what happens when one or more bagholders want to turn their "wealth" into wealth, before another one beats them to it? The higher the price goes, the more likely the big bagholders will be tempted to exit and the easier it will be to break the support. I mean, how many people are actually trading blackcoin or any other new altcoin? Are there enough people there to absorb the costs of bagholders leaving at a given price? If not, that is why a drop follows as some of the "whales" race each other to a low.

For the naysayers/haters/trolls here, these are the undeniable facts:

1. Transferring time of blackcoin is superfast. Bitcoin needs to take a hour or more while BC only requires at most 5 mins.

2. A) For those who are claiming BC early adopters instamine the coins, that's totally non-sense. BC is opened to general public, and the hashrate peaked at ~30 GH/s before POW. Everyone had a chance to use their own computer to mine BC. Looking back to BTC, ASICS obviously create a notorious environment for adopter to constantly "update" their machines in order to get more BTC. Is that fair for the late investor or normal people like my mum to mine? You know the answer.  B) Also the multipool idea is brilliant: it allows people who discover the coin late and don't have spare money to buy the coin directly a chance to get the coin by their own computer.

3. Early adopters will take more profit than late investors: Looking back to the early adopters of BTC who earned more than 10+ millions by using their small personal computer(s) because they believe in the coin. Why you haters didn't blame them? Simply because you are just one of them and this time you didn't take on the rocket?

The coin is now getting stabilized at around the 30k range.

All i can say, why should we panic?

Forget the pump&dump part which was very obviously because of the crazy rise / fall. If you forget that, than you will see that this coin has gone from around 9K / 10K   to   30K and that's quite an achievement.

With all the extra's coming up, this coin is really for the longer term. So hold your coins and see a steady climb and in between sometimes a pump & dump.

I like this coin and it's gonna stay.

Guys, I asked one question a few days ago and no answer so far.

What happens to the price of BC when Bitcoin starts to go up?

I believe now everyone knows.

The multipool is currently too small to maintain any sort of real buying to affect price much.

All these fluctuation are due to organized groups with big pockets.

The entire BC pump happened when BTC was tanking, you don't find this timing a little bit odd?Huh?

I like BC, but like I said before, these price rises are pure BS!!!!

it's called protecting your investment. not just looking for a quick pnd for btc. if any coin has what it takes to completely replace btc it is this coin. as a community thats what we should be doing. placing buys to protect the price from falling.. not just looking for the cheapest price. but if ur pockets are small then margin trading to multiply your coins and removing coins from the market to store in your wallet are the best ways to help this coin as quickly as possible. as it is.. those deep pockets buying everything will gain the most by not putting those coins back on the market for trade.

bc will go up. it's the first real investment coin in all of crypto. it's like a real stock item. every one of us here today are early investors. the whales will be able to live just off the interest the rest of their lives if they hold it long enough for it to rise.. which im pretty sure they will.

BC is a great coin.

just want to put this out there, we rose to quickly, and when the price settles I will buy back all the coins I sold
500% rise in two days is just way to much.  My hope is that we can return to a level where there is a large amount of buy support and that jumps will not surpass 100% in a wekk for a while.  These huge pumps destabalize the average non seasoned invester and dishearten them making it harder for them to be as enthusiastic. It also makes the trading graph look to much like so many pump and dump coins that have come before us.

Remember that 30000 is still a great price to be at, and if someone had told you we would be at 30k a week ago you would have bought every coin you could get your hands on below 10k

my apologies for selling 50% of my holdings, but a rise that fast was just to much for me to hold.

I hope all the bulls and devs can post an I told you so,  bercause I think BC is a great coin

PS: To the naysayers and the people making comments about the recent price drop have your short moment of laughter, because it will not last long. All you have done is motivate the people involved to work harder. I have decided to put my personal projects on hold and focus exclusively on BC for the next 60 days. Always bet on Black and this community will get the last laugh...

Well put Iconic, thanks for sharing. I agree; focus is key. There is something about the community around this coin and i hope we can all learn from this. I'm in for the money on the long haul, no need to say otherwise, however. I wouldn't have bought back in if i didn't believe in this coin and the community.

What i'd like to see is some structure, you know. Like in a business; CEO sets goals, managers execute and ask help from the masses (community) if needed. I'm not sure there is some sort of structure except for Rat4 and Soepkip? I'd like to help if needed, as stated before. I'm project manager in constructions in my daily live with a focus on commercial marketing.

I.E.
I know all in this community mean well and want to help, but i think it'd be better if there were only a few spokespersons/ contacts instead of all that 'd like to help.

Just my 2sats.

Anyway, keep up the good work!

Why does mintpal suddenly require manual approval for BTC withdrawal?

Scared of bugs in their withdrawal script? Maybe they are vulnerable like mtgox CLAIMED it was ?

A what? I'm simply asking if BTC withdrawal manual confirmations are the norm now
