I frankly can't wait for 2 GB blocks. Or maybe they're gigamegs... even better. All it takes is some persistent spamming and the blockchain will bloat to over 10 terabytes in a matter of months. After a year the node count will drop to near zero, if not zero.
On testnet a block was mined containing 1,093,365 transactions and it was only 209mb
