many defaults, money lost...

I advise you, you'd better play!!

Satoshidice >>>> BTCJam

The current repayment rate is aprox 77%, if you think dice games are better than this please stay away of peer to peer lending sites.

@Tulkas
I think you may have missed my post requesting a bit of info.

Why after I have loaned money and been repaid can I NOT empty my account fully, why do you hold a balance?

Is that 77% by volume? Or just repaid loan count?

Can you add a settings option as to whether we want to allow login to BTCJam through Facebook and/or LinkedIn. I want to keep my BTCJam account as a separate login and information so people who may hack my facebook do not also have access to my bitcoins. However, it is still linked to give me a point of "credit".

Worked with the sort buttons, and "days left" is the closest thing to "date listed" but I'd still prefer the date, since expiration period is variable, I think.

Is there any way to view new listings only? Like a way to sort by date listed, or a feed? I'd like to be able to see what's new, rather than wade through all the listings I've seen before.
Click on the column headers... you can sort by rating, how many days left before it expires, etc.

I have sorted by days left to see what was most recent when I had a little coin to lend.

@Tulkas

Just notices that your site BTCJAM does not allow a user to empty their bitcoin account.
keeps saying "transaction Error"

Is there any reason for this?

As a tip, 95% of the world population can use a mobile phone... that does not mean they are bright enough to understand the underlying technology or its implications.(a point which you admirably illustrate without the slightest exertion)

When you grow up, you will realize it is about traceability and audit-ability not about how easy one person finds a site to use.
Go look up "single entry bookkeeping" & "double entry bookkeeping" as an example of what I am talking about.

I know what single entry and double entry bookkeeping are, really it isn't hard to make a spreadsheet for this, as I have done I will sell you my excel template for 100BTC.

Currently its all over the F**ing place.

If you are going to run a financial service, then at least FOLLOW good accountancy practices.

They will get right on it now, LMAO People in this thread are retarded, I read this and get stupider from it LMAO

Then feel free to read it a few more times, perhaps you can attain a level where you can breed with the other pond-scum that inhabit these waters.

Actually I don't want to get so dumb where I can't use a simple site like you LMAO

I just read through the last page, so if it's been mentioned and I didn't see it, my apologies.  However, I can't log in.  Instead, when I click log in via Google Account I get this message:

Error: redirect_uri_mismatch

The redirect URI in the request: https://www.btcjam.com/users/auth/google_oauth2/callback did not match a registered redirect URI

EDIT: It's working again today.

About the personal data of borrowers, it against U.S law to release that info.

Are you in U.S.? What jurisdiction does your service adhere?

We are in the process to move to U.S.

You need to completely re-do the  user display.
Currently you just show a total amount of bitcoins in the service.

you should make it like double entry book keeping, where i can:
1. CLEARLY SEE the amounts and DATES I transferred funds into my BTCJAM account
2. CLEARLY SEE when I proposed a loan, if that loan failed to reach the minimum fund, it SHOULD SHOW the funds being returned to my account
3. BAD debts should be shown.

Currently its all over the F**ing place.

If you are going to run a financial service, then at least FOLLOW good accountancy practices.

PLEASE RE-READ THIS ENTIRE THREAD YOU WILL GET YOUR ANSWER

I'm starting to think you just enjoy coming in this thread and winding people up, if you had read this entire thread yourself as you've told others too MANY times then you would in fact know that Tulkas has mentioned several times that he's been looking into ways to recover defaulted debts. In fact below is his last response on the matter, where he said he would have something to tell us in roughly 2 weeks... although that was about 5 weeks ago now.

There is any news on a system to obtain back some of the money from the scammer, or at least have a part of their debt repayed?

We will have news soon (in two weeks aprox).  Sorry, can't tell you more right now.

He is running a business, plus I don't really care about scamming thing he has, I don't need it Smiley and again if he read the thread he would have seen it, but now he doesn't as the information is presented right in front of his nose.

Can you please describe the other "many flaws" that are being abused?

Your inability to be authoritative with the course of this service. Give the opportunity to btcjam users to ask for your assistance in case of any issues appearing between them. You are the judge, but you still don't know it, and the only one that can tell right from wrong with your service. Make people trust you by helping them, right now they seem to be shouting for your help, and don't give cheap excuses because you will dig your own hole. Bitcoin is the wild west and you should act like it, in your "house" you're the one making the rules.
